As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.
So, this is what I did.
I walked through our parking lots and found sixty "Obama" bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem.
They voted for change, I gave it to them.
I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic!

White House wants control of internet

Internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.
They're not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft of S.773 (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

Question for Mr Obama

ONE SIMPLE QUESTION!
While I've little interest in getting in the middle of the Obama birth issue, Paul Hollrah over at UTFSM did so yesterday and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question:
What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York, Jakarta, and Karachi?
So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later?
And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York, Jakarta, and Karachi, what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?
The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.
Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A : Yes, by his own admission.
Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities…
1) He traveled with a U.S. Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.
Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.
Conclusion
When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.
If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims. And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.
Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008.
Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.
If you don't care if Your President is not a natural born Citizen and in Violation of the Constitution, then Delete this and go into your cocoon. If you do care then Forward this!

Needed Health Care Changes

Insurance and tort reform
There are two facets of the US health care system that could be changed without destroying what is otherwise the best health care system on the planet.
First, remove certain limits on health care insurance companies. At this time, they are not permitted to do business across state lines. Remove this restriction and prices will come down as companies compete [i.e., lower prices] for your insurance dollars.
Second, change the legal system. It is called tort reform. As noted in earlier posts, the medical community [i.e, doctors, hospitals, etc] spend billions of dollars annually on liability protection. Why? Ambulance chasing trial lawyers bring expensive law suits against doctor and hospitals for medical malpractice. These liability insurance premiums drive up the cost of medical treatment. Initiate tort reform and the cost of medical care will come down.
Third, we could also abandon the government health care system that our legislators have created for themselves. It is a ridiculously expensive system tailored to royalty.
There is no need to remake health care. First, fix these two things and see the cost of health care drop. If not, then work on other facets of health care. … the right jack

On Tuesday, the House Republican Conference published a one-page talking points memo that says, "Even as President Obama campaigned on a platform of change and transparency, recent dealings between the pharmaceutical industry and the administration raise serious questions as to whether the drug lobby is helping to bankroll a multimillion dollar severance package for one of the president’s senior advisors."
The memo refers to two ad deals, worth a total of $24 million, bankrolled by the pharmaceutical industry that went to an advertising firm founded by White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod. Cost of doing business
Cash for Clunkers provides us with a great example of the cost of doing business when the government is involved. Each $3,500 to $4,500 rebate to auto trade-in dealers comes with a $1500 government management cost.
Our not-for-profit organizations should keep their overhead under 15% if at all possible. This $1500 government management cost comes out from 33% to 42% overhead per transaction. Just imaging what the government management costs are going to be for a complex government health care program. It is a wonder they only need to kill off all of the sick and injuried seniors with pain pills.
Oh yes, the US Post Office is $7 billion in debt right now and it is only August. ... the right jack

Tort Reform and Health Care

Obama and the Democrats are careful to avoid any mention of lawyers and tort reform in connection with health care. The medical community and business know that they must spend billions of dollars annually to protect themselves from law suits brought against them by trial lawyers.
The trial system is full of ambulance chasers. It is rigged against doctors, hospitals and business. To be accused, whether guilty or not, means settlement or jury trial. In trials, juries commonly favor the person bringing forth the suit. Large financial awards from insurance companies are the prize. So, large settlements are common even when no wrongful acts of commission or omissions are found.
Trial lawyers are large contributors to Obama and other Democrats. Remember, a majority of the members of Congress are lawyers. The very first step in making a significant change in our current health care system is to put a cap on settlements and awards. ... the right jack

In trials, juries commonly favor the person bringing forth the suit. Large financial awards from insurance companies are the prize. So, large settlements are common even when no wrongful acts of commission or omissions are found.

Each senior in your household (aged 65 or above) may be turned for a $4,500 instant cash reward at a conveniently located Senior Turn-In Center near you.
Each Senior will be disposed of humanely, using an intravenous drip consisting of a saline, morphine, short-acting barbiturate and a chemical paralytic solution. This saves the Social Security Administration and Medicare from spending between $40,000 to $80,000 for an average end-of-life treatment.
President Obama praised the proposal, calling it an "elegant and humane way to solve the health care crisis, Medicare spending deficits and the 'overwhelming number of right-wing zealots' who are seniors -- all at the same time!"

And you’ll feel so much better, having had your Gall bladder repaired while subtracting an aging consumer from our medical welfare rolls!
Here’s a fee schedule that I think will make some sense.

Smaller bonuses will be given for codgers who consume beef, soda, fried foods, potato chips, lattes, whole milk, dairy products, bacon, Brussel sprouts, or Girl Scout Cookies.
All codgers will be rendered totally useless via toxic injection. This will insure that they are not secretly resold or their body parts harvested to keep other codgers in repair.

Due to the extreme popularity of the "Cash for Clunkers" auto rebate program, whereby new car buyers may obtain up to $4500 in federal government rebates by turning in older, less efficient vehicles, the president has decided to announce a new wrinkle in his Universal Healthcare proposals.
During a Townhall Meeting in Ottumwa, Iowa, President Obama unveiled an innovative proposal to cut healthcare costs, to be called "Cash for Codgers**." Young, uninsured Americans may receive up to a $5000 healthcare voucher for medical treatment, if they turn in for exchange an older, unhealthy relative.
The older relative must be between the ages of 65 and 90, and preferable should be suffering from some debilitating or expensive to treat disease. Relatively healthy old people will be considered for the program, the president explained, but preference would be given to those "on their last legs."
"I believe this can be a teachable moment," the president told the handpicked crowd of under thirty-year-olds. "We know that over half of all healthcare costs are incurred in a persons final year of life. What we need to do, to hold down government sponsored healthcare costs, is to simply eliminate that final year," he explained.
Certain criteria would have to be met, the president explained. The old person must have been a continuous relative for at least the prior ten year -- to prevent conflicts surrounding ex-inlaws -- and must not have suffered a coma in the last five years.
When asked about the presidents revolutionary proposal, Vice President Joe the Biden said that he thought that, if successful, the program might be expanded to include any old person, not merely relatives. "Why do we want to make the program so narrow?" he asked.
Sitting with friends at Katie's Diner in Wilmington, the Vice President suggested, "Any young person, looking for an opportunity to pick up quality government healthcare, could bring in an old homeless person -- or one of those guys sitting on the side of the road with the 'Will work for food' signs."
"You know that's not true...they won't really work," the Vice President added.
White House Press Secretary Andy Gibb deflected the Vice President's statements, suggesting that it might be time to investigate regulating Biden's meds.
Not all Congressional Democrats were willing to offer support for the president's plan. Senators Tim Johnson and Edward Kennedy both expressed reservations, unless there were ironclad guarantees that Congress would be exempt from the program.

I have read in our local Letters to the Editor [a leftist newspaper] that people sympathetic to the Obama Health Care plan have pointed out their difficulties with their own health care insurance or that of others. A typical scenario revolved around the denial of paid coverage by the insurance companies.
Apparently these same people may not be aware of what is in store for them under Obama Health Care. It is called Quality Adjusted Remaining Years.
Quality Adjusted Remaining Years is a term I first heard from the lips of Dick Morris. Just dissect that phrase yourself, one word at a time - Quality Adjusted Remaining Years. If you are over age 65 and need an operation or expensive medication, the OK for treatment will depend on your age and the cost of your treatment.
It is apparent that these Letter writers have not considered what is very likely to occur under Obama Health Care. At age 70 for instance, suppose that The Health Care Chart reveals that you may have two years to live and that your treatment is estimated to cost $20,000. This means that your Quality Adjusted Remaining Years score $10,000 per year. The Health Care Chart may show that this treatment is too expensive given your age. So, take a pain pill.
Unlike our current health care options, if Obama Care treatment is denied, you will NOT have an option to seek treatment on your own in the USA. Medical service people will be penalized if they treat you. So, you will need to fly or sail to the Bahamas for treatment.
Remember, the most expensive health care times in the lives of citizens are in the remaining years. Our Obama - Public - Government Health Care plan, what ever it will be called, will save money by NOT treating seniors who are ill or injured.
Remember: 1. Limited or rationed Obama Care for seniors. 2. Take a pill. 3. No option to seek health care anywhere in the USA. Could these conditions be reasons why the Rasmussen national telephone poll announced on 8/15/09 showed that 54% of the people want NO health care legislation passed.
At the same time the out of touch Democrats, in their town hall meetings, say that the people who attend their meetings are not representative of the population. If the Big Time Dying Media were real news reporters, they would report these facts … the right jack

Republicans must be respectful

Republicans have been asked to be respectful and “play nicely” at town hall meetings as well as other places where disagreements with Obama and the Democrats are expressed.
Do you remember how nice the Democrats have been while shouting down Republicans over the past two decades. Democrats have also not been shy about showing down right nasty behavior at other opportunities as they announce their disagreements with anything Republican.
Now, a black man was found guilty of portraying a white supremacist on facebook. See www/Twitter.com/gopsaver.
In Michigan, a fellow came to a town hall meeting [as I recall] displaying a Nazi swastika. Later in the same day, this man was photographed handing out Democrat campaign literature.
Sunday on radio, [8/16/09] a caller to the Glenn Beck show gave this account. She has been organizing roadside protests in New Jersey to recruit new volunteers. No “astroturfing” here, just pure grassroots organizing. A fellow stopped and seemed genuinely interested in the cause so she gave him her email address. Later, this same fellow was overheard calling the police on his cell phone to report an assembly without a permit. Upon being asked for the return of her email address, this fellow shouted into his cell phone that he was being attacked.
More double standards. Republicans are urged to be civil while Democrats have carte blanche to do what ever they please. Democrats have no scruples at all … the right jack

Unconstitutional Democrat Health Care Proposals

A letter to my Congressmen
Government needs to get out of our lives. You are moving in directions that you were not voted in to do. The health care plans that you probably did not read are terrible. I am a senior and your government-lead decision makers will kill seniors. Vote NO and do it frequently. Failure to do so will doom your future political ambitions among seniors and their children. As a registered voter, believe it, and I say this calmly and with dignity.
I strongly urge you to oppose any legislation that would enact a government-run, public health care plan. A public plan would be an unfair competitor, ultimately shifting costs to the private sector as it becomes big enough to drive down reimbursements to doctors and hospitals. Consumers would then flock to the public plan because its premiums would be cheaper, and ultimately no viable private plans would remain.
In fact, a recent study by The Lewin Group estimates 130 million people would move from private to public insurance if such legislation were enacted. This would be a disaster - and devastate the employer-sponsored system.
Additionally, any mandate to employers that requires them to offer a one-size-fits-all "minimum benefits package" to all their employees is the wrong idea. The solution isn't to force people to buy into an unaffordable system; the solution is to improve the quality and affordability of health care through market-based changes. Employer mandates, by their nature, limit flexibility and innovation; the foundation of voluntary employer provided health care.
Instead, I encourage Congress to reform the insurance market and find ways to control costs. Without serious steps to decrease health care spending, any such plan will accelerate the day of a health care financial meltdown.
Please consider the impact that a public plan and new sweeping employer mandates would have on the private sector. This is not the way to overhaul the health care system. I strongly urge you to oppose any legislation that favors a government-run, public health care plan.

VP Dick Cheney had secret meetings with Big Oil and was deep fried by Democrats and the Demo Media for even having the meeting. Remember that there was no outcry when Hillary Clinton held secret health care meetings during the Clinton Administration.

Why our country is in trouble

A DC airport ticket agent offers some examples of "why" our country is in trouble!
1. I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman (Carol Shea-Porter) ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window. (On an airplane!)
2. I got a call from a Kansas Congressman's (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke), who wanted to go to Capetown. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ''I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts.'' Without trying to make him look stupid, I calmly explained, ''Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa. '' His response -- click.
3. A senior Vermont Congressman (Bernie Sanders) called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that's not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state. He replied, "Don't lie to me, I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state!'' (OMG)
4. I got a call from a lawmaker's wife (Landra Reid) who asked, ''Is it possible to see England from Canada? '' I said, ''No. '' She said, ''But they look so close on the map.'' (OMG, again!)
5. An aide for a cabinet member (Janet Napolitano) once called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. I pulled up the reservation and noticed he had only a 1-hour layover in Dallas. When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, ''I heard Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between gates to save time.'' (Aghhhh)
6. An Illinois Congresswoman (Jan Schakowsky) called last week. She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 a.m., and got to Chicago at 8:33 a.m. I explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois , but she couldn't understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane went fast, and she bought that.
7. A New York lawmaker, (Jerrold Nadler) called and asked, ''Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?'' I said, 'No, why do you ask?' He replied, ''Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said (FAT), and I'm overweight. I think that's very rude! '' After putting him on hold for a minute, while I looked into it (I was dying laughing), I came back and explained the city code for Fresno, CA is (FAT - Fresno Air Terminal), and the airline was just putting a destination tag on his luggage.
8. A Senator John Kerry aide (Lindsay Ross) called to inquire about a trip package to Hawaii. After going over all the cost info, she asked, ''Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii?''
9. I just got off the phone with a freshman Congressman, Bobby Bright (D) from Alabama who asked, ''How do I know which plane to get on? '' I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied, ''I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these planes have numbers on them.''
10. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) called and said, ''I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola, Florida. Do I have to get on one of those little computer planes? '' I asked if she meant fly to Pensacola, FL on a commuter plane. She said, ''Yeah, whatever, smarty!''
11. Mary Landrieu (D) LA Senator called and had a question about the documents she needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded her that she needed a visa. 'Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those. '' I double checked and sure enough, her stay required a visa. When I told her this she said, ''Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!''

A DC airport ticket agent offers some examples of "why" our country is in trouble!
1. I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman (Carol Shea-Porter) ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window. (On an airplane!)
2. I got a call from a Kansas Congressman's (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke), who wanted to go to Capetown. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ''I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts.'' Without trying to make him look stupid, I calmly explained, ''Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa. '' His response -- click.
3. A senior Vermont Congressman (Bernie Sanders) called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that's not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state. He replied, "Don't lie to me, I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state!'' (OMG)
4. I got a call from a lawmaker's wife (Landra Reid) who asked, ''Is it possible to see England from Canada? '' I said, ''No. '' She said, ''But they look so close on the map.'' (OMG, again!)
5. An aide for a cabinet member (Janet Napolitano) once called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. I pulled up the reservation and noticed he had only a 1-hour layover in Dallas. When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, ''I heard Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between gates to save time.'' (Aghhhh)

She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 a.m., and got to Chicago at 8:33 a.m. I explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois , but she couldn't understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane went fast, and she bought that.
7. A New York lawmaker, (Jerrold Nadler) called and asked, ''Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?'' I said, 'No, why do you ask?' He replied, ''Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said (FAT), and I'm overweight. I think that's very rude! '' After putting him on hold for a minute, while I looked into it (I was dying laughing), I came back and explained the city code for Fresno, CA is (FAT - Fresno Air Terminal), and the airline was just putting a destination tag on his luggage.
8. A Senator John Kerry aide (Lindsay Ross) called to inquire about a trip package to Hawaii. After going over all the cost info, she asked, ''Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii?''
9. I just got off the phone with a freshman Congressman, Bobby Bright (D) from Alabama who asked, ''How do I know which plane to get on? '' I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied, ''I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these planes have numbers on them.''
10. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) called and said, ''I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola, Florida. Do I have to get on one of those little computer planes? '' I asked if she meant fly to Pensacola, FL on a commuter plane. She said, ''Yeah, whatever, smarty!''
11. Mary Landrieu (D) LA Senator called and had a question about the documents she needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded her that she needed a visa. 'Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those. '' I double checked and sure enough, her stay required a visa. When I told her this she said, ''Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!''

Obama does not know

It is becoming more and more apparent that President Obama does not know what is in "his" Democrat Health Care bills.
For example, Obama has repeatedly stated that citizens can keep the insurance plans that they have. That is not going to happen, if the bill becomes law. People will be moved to the government plan. Other features of the Obama bill are:
• Sec. 163, Pg. 59, Lines 21-24 - Government will have direct access to your bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.
• Sec. 201, Pg. 72, Lines 8-14 - Government is creating an HC Exchange to bring private plans under government control.
• Sec. 205, Pg. 95, Lines 8-18 - The government will use groups (i.e., ACORN & AmeriCorps) to “inform and educate” (sign up) individuals for government plan.
• Sec. 205, Pg. 102, Lines 12-18 - Medicaid-eligible individuals will be automatically enrolled in Medicaid. No freedom to choose.
• Sec. 312, Pg. 145, Lines 15-17 - Employers MUST auto-enroll employees into public option plan.
Enough? Obama continues to make statements that are in direct conflict with stated provisions of these bills. His failure to “sell” his plan to the people is rooted in his lack of knowledge about his own bill.

Single payer means . . .

When referring to Obama Health Care, all checks written to or for doctors, hospitals, services, medicine and anything else will be written from a single fund, a government fund, that is quite likely to be a part of a bureaucracy. Government is the single payer.
The actual health care providers will need to obtain approval from their designated health care bureaucrats in order to provide health care. When the doctor, for instance, receives permission and is given an approval number by the government bureaucrat, the medical care giver will then be paid for the services rendered. There will be no shopping around for health care.

Report on local town hall meeting 8/8/09

Our local Democrat House member held a town hall meeting Saturday August 8. It was estimated that 300 to 400 people showed up at a local elementary school. This two-hour meeting started with the elected House Democrat holding individual meetings for one hour with people on a first come – first served bases. Audience members waited over 90 minutes before the second part of the meeting started. They did not know if these eight people were friendlies or not.
For part two, he then planned to have open mike discussions with the audience members. Due to the unexpectedly large turnout in this small community, he switched the program to a mike-fest. People got up and voiced their concerns.
People in favor of the Obama Health Care Program – Obama Insurance Program – Obama Death Care Plan were generally “booed” for expressing their allegiance to Obama. It was estimated that perhaps 10% of the audience favored the Obama Health Care Program – Insurance Program.
Most everyone else who rose to speak was against the Obama program. When asked if he would use the Obama Plan for himself and his family, he danced around the question and did not answer. He did say that he would “not” vote for the Obama Plan.
The audience members had read the Plan. Generally, they were of mixed ages including many seniors, quite orderly and did not support the Obama plan. … the right jack

He told the local newspaper that he was now going to vote for the Obama Health Care Program but that he did not like the one-payer system. We all know that the government one-payer system will force all of the private business options to close their doors. It will also become more and more expensive to taxpayers, as do all government programs. The US Postal System is the current best example of the failure of government-run operations. Tax and spend is the rule of the day for Democrats only this time it is going to destroy businesses while reducing services.

Why hush and rush

Why "hush and rush" legislation through Congress?
Why are the Democrats so intent on getting unread legislation through Congress. My simplistic explanation of their “hush and rush” strategy goes like this.
Many citizens have very short memories. They know this and are counting on it. So, Democrats are working feverishly to get these billions of dollars in legislation through the House and Senate in the first few months of the Obama administration. Then by the time the 2010 and 2012 elections roll around, the sting of these painful legislative actions will be mostly forgotten.
Their hush and rush policy has nothing to do with the need for health care reforms. It is all about our collective forgetfulness.
It appears that all of these legislative acts have been written so that they cannot be reversed. So, failure to remember these killer legislative acts written by Democrats and voters will have their rest of their lives to repent.

Obama and his Clowns have set up an email hotline so that public spirited citizens can tell the Obama Clowns when there is something "fishy" about they way people are looking at their health care program, now spun as an insurance program. It looks to me like they want to "get" those people who are NOT on board with their “hush and rush” to vote programs.

If so, you might recognize this email strategy as a somewhat anonymous way for children, family members and friendly spies to turn their relatives in to the government. It is amazing to me how easily President Obama and his Representative Clowns lie. With a straight face, they all say that there will be no rationing of health care for anyone. Lies. Lies. Lies.
Without a doubt, health care will be rationed for seniors. The Democrat strategy to cut costs in this massive program [1/6th or so of the US economy] is to give pain pills to seniors rather than provided the needed medications and surgery. Interesting enough, the Democrats on the solid left do not believe that this will happen.
Want written proof. Read the health care bill. See Section 122, page 29, lines 4-16. - Your health care will be rationed.
See also Section 1145, page 272 – Treatment of certain cancer hospitals: Cancer patients and their treatment are open to rationing!
See also Section 1308, pages 494-498 – The government will cover Mental Health Services including defining, creating and rationing those services.
If you are a senior or have senior parents and other senior relatives, they will receive limited health care medications and surgeries. However, they will have access to government-selected grief counselors and pain pills.
At this time, a senior will be a person aged 65 and older. As time moves on and the government budget for health care continues to grow and grow, the age for treatment is quite likely to drop down to age 60 and then age 55. In the meantime, illegals and other people who elect to not pay their fair share, will be given free health care on demand.

Trade-ins to be scrapped

A feature of the Cash for Clunkers deal is that the trade-ins must be scrapped. These cars and trucks cannot be resold or salvaged for parts. They must be scrapped. What a waste. Why not sell these vehicles to people in other countries. Have you seen photos of the old 50s and 60s cars they are driving in Cuba, for instance. Would they not absolutely enjoy our so-called clunkers. What kind of clowns write these goofy rules. It makes no sense but then that seems to be the nature of the current administration. … the right jack
