Urine test

THE JOB - URINE TEST
(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)
Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, They pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem).
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.
So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do have, on the other hand, a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?
I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'. Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Some thing has to change in this country – and soon!

Now, if defunding is indeed the case, I want pledges from the Democrats Congress that Acorn will not receive some back door funding deal through hidden riders in future legislation. Culminating March on Washington was huge ... Democrats in denial
ABC and our local newspaper estimate the crowd that gathered in Washington on Saturday September 12 at 50,000 to 70,000. Local police estimated the crowd at 1.5 million and London Daily Mail put the estimate at 2 million.
Robert Gibbs, mouthpiece for the President, said that he did not know there was anything going on. That seems to sum up the entire Democrat establishment as well as the Obama administration. Gotta laugh at the Left, eh what?

$3 billion saves $350 million = Obamanomics

A vehicle at 15 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 800 gallons a year of gasoline.
A vehicle at 25 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 480 gallons a year.
So, the average clunker transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year.
They claim 700,000 vehicles – so that's 224 million gallons per year saved.
That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.
5 million barrels of oil is about ¼ of one day's US consumption.
And, 5 million barrels of oil costs about $350 million dollars at $70/bbl.
So, we all contributed to spending $3 billion to save $350 million.
How good a deal was that for the selective auto dealerships, and more importantly, to keep the votes of the automotive unions in 2010-2012?
The Obama Administration will probably do a great job with health care though! RIGHT!

If Cap and Trade passes, and certain provisions in that bill are NOT thrown out, homeowners who want to sell their homes will be forced to spend thousands of dollars in repairs. How? Home sellers will be forced to replace roofs, doors, windows, insulation and other parts to bring their homes up to their current energy standards. This could cost each home seller $10,000 to $20,000 or more. This will hit the low cost homeowners particularly hard. How can they spend $10,000 to $15,000 to bring a $60,000 up to code. They will not be able to afford these upgrades. If they try, then they will not be able to sell these homes for what they have spent on them. What sense does that make?
The massive Obama administration bailouts are not working. With less than 15% of the bailout money distributed, unemployment continues to climb toward 10%, joblessness continues to grow, bank failures continue, real estate sales shows limited growth, construction shows little growth, and consumer spending shows little improvement. US debt continues to climb. Bailout spending continues. What sense does that make?
Elders in our society will be sacrificed, [i.e., take a pill] in order to sustain the Obama Health Care plan. In many societies, the elderly are revered. In the USA under this plan, elders are expendable. What sense does that make?
The AARP has been positioning itself as a representative for seniors. However, AARP supports the Obama Health Care plan that will sacrifice seniors to save money. The AARP also derives income from insurance for seniors. That amounts to cutting off your own oxygen supply. What sense does that make?
Barney Frank, a key player in the mortgage disaster, is now pushing for people to rent homes rather than home ownership. What is behind this shift from ownership to a rental mind-set. What sense does that make?
Obama cabinet appointees and czars include tax cheats, indicted former politicians, and avowed communists who hate America. These appointments and affiliations are just like putting The Fox in charge of the hen house. That demonstrates seriously flawed judgment. What sense does that make?
Congress has given itself a health care system fit for gold-plated royalty while trying to push an unpopular and inadequate health care program off on the US population. Similar British and Canadian plans are not well received by their people. Now they want to force us to adopt yet another unpopular plan. What sense does that make?
The Cash for Clunkers plan mandates that the trade-in vehicles must be destroyed. They cannot be sold, shipped out or even salvaged for parts. We have to pay to have these clunkers destroyed on top of the Union bailout. What sense does that make?
The Obama administration has taken over the management of private corporations [e.g., GM] as part of their massively failing bailouts. Then the private sector executive was replaced by a union boss. What sense does that make?
We have given welfare benefits to people who are in need. In over 40 years, the end result for way too many people is generation after generation on welfare. What sense does that make?
We will not even go down the road where Democrats claim over and over that all of the problems in American are the fault of old white men. When Democrats make political statements like that, they have to look the other way when considering the dictators in Africa, Cuba, Iran and Venezuela. However, there are the old white guys like Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd who are at the heart of the mortgage disaster.

The Cash for Clunkers plan mandates that the trade-in vehicles must be destroyed. They cannot be sold, shipped out or even salvaged for parts. We have to pay to have these clunkers destroyed on top of the Union bailout. What sense does that make?
The Obama administration has taken over the management of private corporations [e.g., GM] as part of their massively failing bailouts. Then the private sector executive was replaced by a union boss. What sense does that make?
We have given welfare benefits to people who are in need. In over 40 years, the end result for way too many people is generation after generation on welfare. What sense does that make?
We will not even go down the road where Democrats claim over and over that all of the problems in American are the fault of old white men. When Democrats make political statements like that, they have to look the other way when considering the dictators in Africa, Cuba, Iran and Venezuela. However, there are the old white guys like Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd who are at the heart of the mortgage disaster.
Many policies of the Obama administration make no sense. Have we seen enough yet. It is time to vote them all out … the right jack

If I were the first multi-racial [50% white, 45% muslim, 5% black] President of the United States, and seized the opportunity to give a speech to all of the students in the US schools, there are a few bullet points I would emphasize. They are:
Mind your parents
Help your family with the chores
Respect your elders
Do well in school
Graduate from high school
Do not mess around and make babies before you are married
Stay away from bad people
Stay away from trouble
Stay away from alcohol and drugs
Be a good school citizen
Serve your community and school
Go to a community college or a 4 your college after high school
It is important for you to know that the more you learn, the more you earn. So, finish high school, go to college and find an occupation that you enjoy or learn a trade.
On the other hand, if you elect to follow that self-destructive downward path by skipping school, making babies, and getting into trouble, we can help you control your life in our adult care facilities. They are run by city, county, state and federal authorities.
Right now, we take care of 200 million teenagers and adults who cannot manage their own lives and behavior without confined supervision. We also take care of millions of others who have little or no motivation to be self-sufficient and productive members of society. Many of the problems that these people face come from not finishing high school.
You have the power to decide which path you wish to follow. Those who chose to be good people and learn all you can in school will find that there are people along the way who will help you. Remember, you can become a lifetime dependent on others or you can become independent and self-sufficient. It is your free choice. … the right jack, if he were President

When is a tax not a tax?
In the Obama Health Care bill, there is a specific statement in those 1100 pages that a certain added cost paid by us, you and me, will NOT be called a tax. In fact, it is an added tax but it is not to be called a tax. See page 441, line 14-15, of the House version of the Obama Health Care bill.
What was that promise again where Mr Obama stated with conviction, just like Bill Clinton, that there would be no added taxes on people making under $250,000 or was it $200,000. Maybe it is $30,000 or it might be $16,000. Everything that these Democrats are doing is costing every single person who pays taxes PLUS those who are not paying taxes.
Go Green. Recycle Congress. It is the American thing to do ... the right jack

Indocrination or education

Plans are for Barack Obama to make his pitch to our school children September 8. He reportedly will ask children to write a letter stating how they can help the president.
School students are already being indoctrinated into the ways and ideals of Democrats by members of our left-leaning public school systems. The Global Warming hoax is just one example. Trashing Republicans is another.
Talk with your children, look at their study materials, homework assignments and reading assignments. Parents will learn whether their children are being educated for life or indoctrinated into becoming young Democrats.
To counter the political propaganda of Herr Obama, ask your offspring to write letters stating how they can help themselves become better family members, better school citizens, and more self-reliant.
Our colleges are notoriously left of center politically. In addition to druggies and other unsavory classmates, add teachers to the list of people from whom you must protect your children. It seems that many parents plan to keep their children home from school on this day.

Government ineffectiveness

A mini history lesson. Is anybody listening? Is anybody out there?
To the Congress:
The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775 - you have had 234 years to get it right; it is broke.
Social Security was established in 1935 - you have had 74 years to get it right; it is broke.
Fannie Mae was established in 1938 - you have had 71 years to get it right; it is broke.
The "War on Poverty" started in 1964 - you have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor"; it hasn't worked and our entire country is broke.
Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 - you've had 44 years to get it right; they are broke.
Freddie Mac was established in 1970 - you have had 39 years to get it right; it is broke.
Trillions of dollars were spent in the massive political payoffs called TARP, the "Stimulus", the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009... none show any signs of working, although ACORN appears to have found a new bi**h: the American taxpayer.
And finally, to set a new record:
"Cash for Clunkers" was established in 2009 and went broke in 2009! It took good dependable cars (that were the best some people could afford) and replaced them with high-priced and less-affordable cars, mostly Japanese. A good percentage of the profits went out of the country. And the American taxpayers take the hit for Congress' generosity in burning three billion more of our dollars on failed experiments. And they said that this program came in "under" budget.
So with a perfect 100% failure rate and a record that proves that the "services" you shoved down our throats are failing faster and faster, you want Americans to believe you can be trusted with a government-run health care system?
Remember Katrina? Remember Amtrak? Poor management and financially challenged.
20% of our entire economy? With all due respect, are you crazy?
