Greetings Patriots!

OPERATION CAN YOU HEAR US NOW is proud to announce our next battle in the war against media-bias in the "main stream – fringe stream – state run" media.
It’s called: "The BLACK RIBBON Offensive".

Spread the word to everyone you know! It matters not whether you are a Tea Party person, a 9/12er, an activist, or just an everyday citizen and patriot – this is an event for all!

You’ve all seen the yellow ribbons tied around trees, on car antennas, and the ribbon magnets on the rear of vehicles supporting our troops. And, you’ve probably all seen pink ribbons worn or displayed in support of breast cancer research. Well, to put a new twist (and color) on an old idea we have created "The BLACK RIBBON Offensive".

The BLACK RIBBON Offensive is intended to send a message to the biased Main Stream Media and to reveal just how many Americans are sick and tired of the journalistic malpractice exercised daily by the national (so-called) news media organizations.

Imagines thousands, even millions of BLACK RIBBONS tied around trees, mailboxes, car antennas, radio and tv antennas, satelitte dishes, sign posts, light posts, fence posts, etc. all across this nation…to MOURN the death of true journalism in America and as a sign of protest against the BIASED main stream media.

Even better yet, imagine citizen patriots (who live and/or work on the streets next to biased media outlets) flooding their properties with BLACK RIBBONS (on trees or objects in their yards) that these media employees will have to drive by and see every day on their way to work!

Or how about sending (by the thousands) letters full of nothing but BLACK RIBBONS to the newsroom chiefs of the major networks and national daily papers? (Send me their addresses and I’ll post a page full!)

And, if you have a local media outlet that is particularly negligent in the area of fair and balanced journalism, you could "BLACK RIBBON certify" them and create a local campaign alongside this national one.

I cannot think of a single thing that you have proposed that will help any US citizen. However, they will create more dependents who will not pay taxes.

Social Security 2009

2010 is an election year for 1/3 of the senate and 1/2 of the House of Representatives. It would be nice if Congress got the message; the voting taxpayers are in charge now.

Proposal for Social Security 2009

START A BILL TO PLACE ALL POLITICIANS ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND, DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY INCUMBENT. ALL OF CONGRESS, REGARDLESS OF PARTY AFFILIATION, NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

SOCIAL SECURITY:

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years. Our Senators and Representatives do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.

In more recent years, no Congressional Representative has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan. For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die. Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments.

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives. This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives. Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. ZIP!! ZERO!! NADA!!! ZILCH!!!

This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds:

"OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"!

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer). We can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after retirement.

Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits!

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made. That change would be … Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Representatives. Put them on the same Social Security plan with the rest of us

Then sit back and see how fast they would fix it!

If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

Three Decades Of Global Cooling

As a Colorado Rockies playoff game is snowed out, scientists report that Arctic sea ice is thickening and Antarctic snow melt is the lowest in three decades. Whatever happened to global warming?

Al Gore wasn't there to throw out the first snowball, er, baseball, so he might not have noticed that Saturday's playoff game between the Colorado Rockies and the Philadelphia Phillies was snowed out — in early October. The field should have been snow-free just as the North Pole was to be ice-free this year.

It seems that ice at both poles hasn't been paying attention to the computer models. The National Snow and Ice Data Center released its summary of summer sea-ice conditions in the Arctic last week and reported a substantial expansion of "second-year ice" — ice thick enough to have persisted through two summers of seasonal melting.

According to the NSIDC, second-year ice this summer made up 32% of the total ice cover on the Arctic Ocean, compared with 21% in 2007 and 9% in 2008. Clearly, Arctic sea ice is not following the consensus touted by Gore and the warm-mongers.

This news coincides with a finding published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters last month by Marco Tedesco, a research scientist at the Joint Center for Earth Systems Technology. He reported that ice melt on Antarctica was the lowest in three decades during the ice-melt season.

Each year, millions of square miles of sea ice melt and refreeze. The amount varies from season to season. Despite pictures taken in summer of floating polar bears, data reported by the University of Illinois' Arctic Climate Research Center at the beginning of this year showed global sea ice levels the same as they were in 1979, when satellite observations began.

At the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change, hosted by the Heartland Institute, the keynote speaker, Dr. Patrick Michaels of the Cato Institute and the University of Virginia, debunked claims of "unprecedented" melting of Arctic ice. He showed how Arctic temperatures were warmer during the 1930s and that most of Antarctica is indeed cooling.

At the other end of the earth, we are told the Larsen B ice shelf on the western side of Antarctica is collapsing. That part is warming and has been for decades. But it comprises just 2% of the continent. The rest of the continent is cooling.

A report prepared by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research for last April's meeting of the Antarctic Treaty nations in Washington notes that the South Pole has in fact shown "significant cooling in recent decades."

Australian Antarctic Division glaciology program head Ian Allison says sea ice losses in west Antarctica over the past 30 years have been more than offset by increases in the Ross Sea region, just one sector of East Antarctica. "Sea ice conditions have remained stable in Antarctica generally," Allison says.

So what gives? Earth's climate is influenced by many things, the least of which is the internal combustion engine. We and reputable scientists have noted the earth has cooled during the last decade, a period in which the sun has grown very quiet with little or no sunspot activity.

According to research conducted by Professor Don Easterbrook from Western Washington University, the oceans and global temperatures are closely related. They have, he says, a natural cycle of warming and cooling that affects the planet.

The most important ocean cycle is the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO). Easterbrook notes that in the 1980s and '90s it was in a warming cycle, as was the earth. The global cooling from 1940 to 1975, which had some experts warning of an ice age, coincided with a Pacific cooling cycle.

Professor Easterbrook says: "The PDO cool mode has replaced the warm mode in the Pacific Ocean, virtually assuring us of three decades of global cooling." Such solar and ocean cycles explain why the earth can cool and polar ice thicken even as carbon dioxide levels can continue to increase.

Will any of this be brought up at the climate conference in Copenhagen this December? Not unless hell freezes over. Then again ...

Obama Given Nobel Peace Prize

President Barach Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize. Apparently, the his nomination took place February 1, 2009. This means that he was in office for just a few weeks before this happened. This has to be a new world record. What has he done?

He has nominated and appointed a number of Czars who should be fined and put in jail for cheating on their taxes. His school czar promotes man-boy love.

His TARP program accomplished nothing. No jobs. Nothing.

He gave banks and other corporations huge sums of money. No jobs. Nothing accomplished.

He bailed out two auto companies, thus prolonging the eventual loss of more jobs.

He forced other auto companies to shut their doors and sell their assets, like Hummer, to China.

He has presided over a huge nine month increase in US UNemployment. About to reach 10% or 17%, depending on how the unemployed are counted.

There is no evidence that any thing he has done thus far has created any jobs. His claim for "saved jobs" is just spin for use by the supporting media. However, they have handed out huge sums of money to those who do not work, cannot work or elect not to work.

His tax laden and fine laden health care initiative is hugely unpopular with seniors and many other tax payers.

His Tax and Trade program is as bogus as Global Warming. It will help destroy the US economy by making businesses totally uncompetitive in the world market. International leaders and manufacturers must be jumping with joy.

He has waffled and stalled on winning the war in Afghanistan, after he said that is where we should focus our military efforts. In 9 months, nothing accomplished.

Every Democrat initiative he promotes is loaded with tax increases and fines.

Keep in mind that it took the family four months to find their dog.

Receiving this award is quite possibly his first actual accomplishing apart from his earned degrees.

The world is laughing at Obama. Yet world leaders and US antagonists are very appreciative of his efforts to destroy the US economy and minimize US leadership. No doubt, the joke is on us.

The Ant and The Grasshopper

Two Different Versions! Two Different Morals!

THE OLD VERSION

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!


THE MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government housing he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he didn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be VERY careful how you vote in 2010

September 2009 unemployment up again

September 2009 unemployment is officially at 9.8%.

Since the start of the recession in December 2007, the number of unemployed persons has increased by 7.6 million to 15.1 million, and the unemployment rate has doubled to 9.8 percent.

There are no positive unemployment figures no matter how you count those who are without work, whether they have stopped looking, looking but not employed, working part time jobs and looking for full time work or choose not to work. When all of the unemployed figures are counted, that number is in the 16 per cent area.

How Democrats will spin this [their?] unemployment disaster.

Ala Bill Clinton – the economy was much worse than we originally thought when we took office.

Ala Joe Biden – the stimulus is working and unemployment is getting worse slower.

Ala Barack Obama – The stimulus is working. The financial institutions are getting stronger. We knew that unemployment would be the last to recover from hard economic times.

Ala Realtors – Housing is always that last to recover from tough economic times.

Ala Acorn – No problem as long as we [or our shadow organizations] continue to get our billions in bailout money.

Ala auto industry unions - waaaaaaaaaa
