"I had a doctor’s appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found something very interesting I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions.
(1) Did I feel stressed?
(2) Did I feel threatened?
(3) Did I feel like doing harm to someone?
The nurse then informed me, if I had answered yes to any of the questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.
"I am a Viet Nam vet and 15 year CC permit holder. Looks like they are going after us vets. Be forewarned and be aware."
The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners as potential terrorists. If you are a veteran, you've been warned. If you know veterans, please pass this on to them.

NBA Players Tampering
NBA players are speaking with NBA players on other teams. Players who are free agents want to find out what other stars are planning to do if and when they decide to stay home or relocate.
This type of fraternizing among players is forbidden by NBA rules. However, there is little that the NBA officials can do to stop or even police it.
I believe that this is a signal for Obama and the Democrats in Congress to take action to show that they care. They need to step in immediately, just like they did with the PB oil spill off the coast of Louisiana. Democrats must appoint Federal Democrat Regulators who can put a stop to NBA players speaking with each other.
If successful, these new Federal Democrat Regulators can have the same positive effects on free enterprise and capitalism in the NBA as was achieved when Democrats in Congress demanded that banks lend money to home buyers who could not afford to make the payments. Otherwise lenders would face serious Federal Democrat Regulator punishment.

Big Gov - next bubble to burst
After big government spending, government employee unions pose a serious threat to America's fiscal health. Over the past 30 years, union membership has declined significantly, from 23% of all workers in 1980 to about 12% today. But the percentage of union members working for government has soared: Over 50% of all union workers in the U.S. are employed by the government compared with only 17% in 1980.

Kagan the softball player
Media pundits have been wondering why Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan, having played softball in college, raises questions about her sexual orientation. In other words, there is speculation that she is a closet lesbian and will be in position to influence decisions regarding homosexuality.

Threats to burn Houston
HOUSTON BLACK PANTHER THREATENS TO BURN CITY

The Most Highly Exalted, Most Righteous (and mostly unemployed) Black Panther Minister Quanell X threatened to burn down Bellaire, a city in the Houston area, if police shoot one more black man!
Further warning Bellaire, he also said he would only throw some garbage in the street if a black man got a speeding ticket. But Quanell X also said he’d spit out some chewing gum on the sidewalk if a black person got a fine for an overdue library book! A Black Panther spokesman said he’d have a complete list of penalties Quanell X would impose on Bellair available soon.
What got Quanell X worked up was police shot a black man in Bellaire when mistakenly pulled him over. They believed the car he was driving was stolen but it actually did belong to the man.
However, the man began (surprise!) arguing with the police and learned the hard way not to reach in the waistband of your pants when pulled over by police. It was an unfortunate incident that cost an innocent man his life. As an aside, AWD always suggests the “yes, sir/no, sir” behavior when pulled over by the police. I also strongly encourage all to keep their hands in plain sight and don’t argue. I don’t know why that is so hard to understand for some people.
Minister Quanell X said: “This cop is a criminal, this cop should be in jail. If you shoot one more black man in Bellaire in cold blood, then your damn city will go up in flames.”
Keep in mind, Quanell also has stated in the past: “I say to Jewish America: Get ready … knuckle up, put your boots on, because we’re ready and the war is going down. … The real deal is this: Black youth do not want a relationship with the Jewish community or the mainstream white community or the foot shuffling, head-bowing, knee bobbing black community. … All you Jews can go straight to hell.”

Democrats introduce gas tax
Today, Congress once again ignored what Americans want and introduced a new gasoline tax as part of a global warming bill that also contains a cap and trade energy tax on utilities. The section on the gas tax begins on p. 361.
Introduced by Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT), this bill requires American oil companies to pay a fee to the government for their global warming emissions.
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who helped craft the gas tax, admitted the fee "will be passed on" to motorists in the form of higher gasoline prices.
But Senators Kerry and Lieberman are offended that any American would dare call it a gas tax.
Don't be fooled. This is a government requirement that will increase the cost of gasoline. It's a tax. So not only will we have to pay more for gas, we have the added insult of Senators insisting that what we can plainly see as a new gas tax is not actually a gas tax.
The American people know better. And according to an American Solutions poll, 71% of Americans oppose this new gas tax, even if politicians are insisting it is not a gas tax.
In addition, this bill creates a cap and trade system that will dramatically increase the cost of residential and commercial electricity prices.
Even the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says cap and trade will kill jobs and reduce American productivity.
With one bill, Congress will raise gasoline and electricity prices, raise the cost of energy, and kill jobs. This is not the way to create jobs and prosperity.
This bill is wrong for America. Will you help us defeat it?

The gas pump, of course, didn't respond.
The younger alien became angry at the lack of response.
The older alien said, "I'd calm down if I were you."
The younger alien ignored the warning and repeated his greeting. Again, there was no response.
Pissed at the pump's haughty attitude, he drew his ray gun and said gruffly,
"Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace. Take us to your leader or I will fire!"
The older alien again warned his comrade saying:
"You probably don't want to do that! I really think that will make him mad."
"Rubbish," replied the cocky, young alien. He aimed his weapon and opened fire. There was a huge explosion. A massive fireball roared towards him and blew the younger alien off his feet and threw him in a burnt, smoking mess about 200 yards away in a cactus patch.
Half an hour passed. When he finally regained consciousness, he refocused his three eyes, straightened his bent antenna, and looked dazedly at the older, wiser alien who was standing over him shaking his big, green head.
"What a ferocious creature!" exclaimed the young, fried alien. "He damn near killed me! How did you know he was so dangerous?"

Humor: Universal Truths
1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How in the world are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.
10. Bad decisions make good stories.
11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.
13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.

CBC wants money to stop potential violence
Congressional Black Caucus urges approval of $1.5B jobs bill to stem summer violence By Jay Heflin
Black lawmakers are urging the Senate to pass a summer jobs bill even if it adds to the deficit.
Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and others on Thursday said unemployment rates in the inner cities are well above the national average and could lead to violence by inner-city youth during the hot summer.
They said their $1.5 billion jobs bill should be approved as "emergency" legislation, which would negate pay-as-you-go rules stipulating that bills must be offset with other spending cuts or revenue-raisers. The legislation has already been approved by the House, but is stalled in the Senate.
"We all want to reduce the deficit — we understand that and we get that," Lee said at a press conference. "Many of us supported pay-go, but we also supported it understanding that the provisions for emergency spending were there if such a designation were made. And this is an emergency."
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) said youth violence had already begun but would likely escalate over the summer after school lets out and the young are turned out onto the streets with no job to keep them out of trouble.
"This is an emergency," he said. "If we don't act quickly, we will regret it sometime over the middle of the summer."
The unemployment rate in March for African-American males was 16.6 percent, compared to the 9.7 percent national rate, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The new jobs report for April will be released on Friday.
Lee has met with Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) on a possible vehicle for the program, but the cost, and the fact it is not offset with other spending cuts or revenue-raisers, is a sticking point for the chairman. The congresswoman said that roughly $900 million of the $1.5 billion she is requesting is not offset.
"Our leadership is in the process now of negotiation and trying to see where, in fact, these provisions would be most appropriate," she said. "That remains to be seen."
Sen. Roland Burris (D-Ill.) is also working to ensure his chamber views the measure as emergency spending.
"I'm going to do everything I can to deal with the issues over there [in the Senate] and push 'em — find out just how much clout I have," he said.
"This is an emergency. If we don't think this is an emergency, just wait and see what happens if we don't do it."
Note: Who is creating this nasty growth in unemployment? George Bush is suppose. Obama gets a total pass on the continuing rise in unemployment from his supporters and the media.

It was just one skirmish, but it plainly exposed Congress' and President Obama's dereliction of duty in failing to seal our southern border against a direct threat to the peace and security of our nation: drug smugglers.
Last Friday afternoon, Pinal County, Ariz., Deputy Sheriff Louie Puroll was patrolling a patch of desert when he picked up the trail of five smugglers bringing marijuana north from Mexico.
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Brabeu later explained what happened to Greta Van Susteren of Fox News.
"This is a known corridor for smuggling not only drugs but illegals," Brabeu said. "And so he radioed back to dispatch to call for support, and he continued to track the direction because he's highly skilled in this as a search-and-rescue deputy."
The smugglers figured out what Puroll was doing.
"And so they left a rear guard behind and took cover and concealment as our deputy approached," Brabeu told Van Susteren. "This last suspect, who was armed with an AK-47, popped up and started shooting at our deputy, who was in uniform. They clearly knew he was a law officer." The gun battle lasted 10 minutes.
Puroll emptied his pistol, then started shooting his rifle. He was hit, receiving a minor wound to his side. The sheriff's department dispatched a helicopter to the scene, and 200 law enforcement officers were eventually deployed to surround and search the area. Local authorities caught 17 illegal aliens in the vicinity, Brabeu said, and the Border Patrol caught another 100. So far, none has been charged with shooting Deputy Puroll.
You might suspect Pinal County is smack on the southern border. It is not. It is about 140 miles by interstate freeway north of Mexico. It is deep into the sovereign territory of the United States. Yet it is on the front lines of America's drug war, because it sits astride a wide-open corridor through which our derelict federal government allows smugglers to routinely bring massive amounts of illegal drugs into the interior of our country.
It is no exaggeration to call this war a war. It is a conflict in which many people have been killed or wounded -- even though our government is hardly fighting back.
Consider these facts from the recently released U.S. Justice Department National Drug Threat Assessment for 2010:
-- Almost one in five U.S. teenagers used illegal drugs in the past year.
-- Mexican drug trafficking organizations (DTOs) were the main wholesale suppliers. "Law enforcement reporting and case initiation data show that Mexican DTOs control most of the wholesale cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine distribution in the United States, as well as much of the marijuana distribution."
-- A massive network of street gangs distributed the drugs smuggled from Mexico in communities all across America. "In 2009, midlevel and retail drug distribution in the United States was dominated by more than 900,000 criminally active gang members representing approximately 20,000 street gangs in more than 2,500 cities."
-- Because our government did not secure our border, Mexican smugglers enjoyed a booming business last year. "Mexican DTOs increased the flow of several drugs (heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana) into the United States, primarily because they increased production of those drugs in Mexico."
-- Consumers of these smugglers' products clogged our health care system. "In 2007, there were approximately 1.8 million admissions to state-licensed treatment facilities for illicit drug dependence or abuse."
-- Emergency rooms were flooded with drug abusers. "In 2006, the Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN) reported that of 113 million hospital ED visits -- 1,743,887 (1.5 percent) -- were related to drug misuse or abuse."
Deputy Puroll was hardly the only U.S. law enforcement officer attacked by smugglers on U.S. territory. "Assaults against U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents increased 46 percent from 752 incidents in FY 2006 to 1,097 incidents in FY 2008," said the National Drug Threat Assessment. In other words, three Border Patrol agents were assaulted on the average day.
President Obama has largely left it to the Pinal County Sheriff's Department and other local law enforcement agencies in Arizona and other border states to do what little they can to protect the rest of America from the drugs and smugglers flowing in from Mexico.
It is no excuse for the administration's defenders to say President Bush did it, too. Of course he did. And it was a disgrace and dereliction for him, too.
Our Founding Fathers drafted the Constitution to create a federal government that would primarily carry out functions state governments could not. Paramount among them: 1) defending the country against foreign enemies, 2) regulating commerce with foreign nations, 3) regulating commerce among the states and 4) regulating immigration.
Today we have illegal immigrants hauling massive quantities of illegal drugs across our international border, engaging in firefights with U.S. law enforcement officers on our sovereign territory, and distributing their deadly contraband and destroying the lives of American teenagers in communities in every state of the union.
President Obama and Congress are failing in their most fundamental duties.

The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties. I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation.
In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate,a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election.
Vote every incumbent out. And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body,
With no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us ... They are answerable to us
And they simply have to run that body with some common sense. Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out. We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.
We, the People, Have got to take this Country back and we HAVE to do it peacefully. That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned.
I am also suggesting term limits on the NEW BUNCH -8 YEARS FOR REPRESENTATIVES AND 12 YEARS OF SENATORS. NO EXCEPTIONS. THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED.
WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT -NOW LET'S TERM LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

"THIS MONEY WILL BE COMING FROM THE SAVINGS TO BE GENERATED FROM WITHHOLDING "COST OF LIVING INCREASES FOR 2010 & 2011 In SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FOR THE ELDERLY AND A $2.00 INCREASE ON ALL MEDICARE RX BENEFIT CO-PAY"
Please pass this to ALL your friends and have them "PROTEST THE PEOPLE WE ELECTED TO CONGRESS" who by the way, have just voted themselves ANOTHER 3% SALARY INCREASE!!!
We must put a stop to this outright thievery! It is THE CONGRESS AND THE SENATE, BOTH REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATS, WE CAN'T FIRE THEM, BUT WE SURE CAN NOT RE-ELECT THEM,
And WE CAN IMPEACH THEM Or DEMAND RECALL ELECTIONS !!!
HOW ABOUT WE ALL GET TOGETHER AND DUMP THESE CLOWNS.

The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties. I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation.
In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate,a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election.
Vote every incumbent out. And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body,
With no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us ... They are answerable to us
And they simply have to run that body with some common sense. Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out. We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.
We, the People, Have got to take this Country back and we HAVE to do it peacefully. That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned.
I am also suggesting term limits on the NEW BUNCH -8 YEARS FOR REPRESENTATIVES AND 12 YEARS OF SENATORS. NO EXCEPTIONS. THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED.
WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT -NOW LET'S TERM LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

Why US health care is so expensive
Report from Pennsylvania.
An hospital administrator reported to her state legislator how illegal emigrants cost her hospital millions of dollars a year in care. INS will not remove the illegals. The hospital cannot pay for their fare back to their home country. So, the hospital is saddled with millions of dollars in FREE unpaid debt.

Imagine how much US Taxpayer costs will go up when Obama Health Care Scam & Tax goes into effect. Our own States like Massachusetts and California and other Nations are going broke trying to pay for free health care. Please note that our Democrat "Big Daddy" Federal Government thinks this is great and that it will lower costs.
Obama Health Care Scam & Tax could possibly work if everyone over age 50 [maybe 45] is denied diagnosis and treatment. Pain pills cost a lot less than diagnosis and proper treatment.
By the way, just when did our Democrat "Big Daddy" Federal Government decide to drop the time honored value of respect your elders. This current crop of Democrats are just as bad as the common street thugs who rob and beat up defenseless old people.
