Now Democrats are making back-room deals with Charles Rangel [D-NY] and Maxine Waters [D-CA] from her own party who have been found to have violated the House rules multiple times for decades.

Obama snubs an opportunity to speak to the Boy Scouts and goes on a far left TV show called The View. Critics say that he was the least experienced person on The View that day. July 29, 2010

Internet sales tax [called the "Main Street Fairness Act"] is being promoted to Congress by National Retail Federation. More and more people buying on line. That new sales tax will not stop the online exodus from brick and morter stores. Do you suppose Congress will add a "tax" on gasoline that you did NOT use by shopping on line.

Mexicans on both side of the US border claim that the Southwestern USA is their land. This means that most of Mexico could be claimed by the remaining Mayans, Toltecs and Aztecs.

Democrats plan to cram through every piece of legislation they have in their files after they lose the November 2010 election and before Republicans take office. This is all about creating a permanent Democrat majority. It has nothing to do with what is good for the nation. How can we ever trust Democrat politicians again.

Six Flags Hosts Muslim Brotherhood's Family Day on September 12th

Another stab in the eye of America . . . "Muslim Family Day" on September 12th.

Vile. Six Flags hosts the annual Muslim Brotherhood front, I.C.N.A., for Muslim Family Day on September 12. "This event offers fun for the entire family and will also offer halal food stalls." (more video here)

Americans Against Hate chief Joe Kaufman said while the event itself may be insignificant, the sponsor is a worry.

The Muslim Family Day website identifies the group as the Islamic Circle of North America, or ICNA.

"Does Six Flags have any idea who ICNA is or what ICNA represents?" asked the Creeping Shariah blog author. "Here is just a little background…"

ICNA has established a reputation for bringing anti-American radicals to speak at its annual conferences. Moreover, experts have long documented the organization's ties to Islamic terrorist groups. Yehudit Barsky, a terrorism expert at the American Jewish Committee, has said that ICNA 'is composed of members of Jamaat e-Islami, a Pakistani Islamic radical organization similar to the Muslim Brotherhood that helped to establish the Taliban.' (Pakistani newspapers have reported that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, a leading architect of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, was offered refuge in the home of Jamaat e-Islami's leader, Ahmed Quddoos.) On September 27, 1997, another Pakistani Islamist leader, Maulana Shafayat Mohamed, played host to an ICNA conference at his Florida-based fundamentalist madrassa (religious school), which served as a recruitment center for Taliban fighters.

Kaufman wrote an article in 2007 criticizing ICNA and the Islamic Association of North Texas for a "Muslim Family Day" at a Six Flags location there. He noted the Muslim organizations is suspected of funneling money to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and al-Qaida.

Change at the White House

For a long time, we have noticed that the decor at the White House has changed since BHO moved in.

The Oval Office is now stripped of the traditional red, white, and blue, and replaced with middle eastern wallpaper, drapes, and decor.



The hallway that he walks out of to talk to the press now has middle eastern chairs, drapes, etc. And the thing that has bothered me the most is the bright yellow drape behind him every time he speaks from the white house.

It has Arabic symbols on it and has been there from the beginning.

Today I received this and it clearly shows what I have been noticing. That bright yellow curtain is highly visible, but as you scroll down, you will see what is predominantly absent. Also, as you look at the pictures of other presidents speaking from the same spot, look at the traditional 'American' background and decor as opposed to the new decor. Trust me when I say that this is intentional. It should alarm every American.

• 83 percent of all U.S. stocks are in the hands of 1 percent of the people. [Does this include all of stocks in ordinary pension funds held by ordinary Americans? Not! Work those numbers again math-breath!]
• 61 percent of Americans "always or usually" live paycheck to paycheck, which was up from 49 percent in 2008 and 43 percent in 2007.
• 66 percent of the income growth between 2001 and 2007 went to the top 1% of all Americans. [How can you have income growth when you did not finish school, pregnant with no father in the home, no degree, high on drugs?]

• 36 percent of Americans say that they don't contribute anything to retirement savings.
• A staggering 43 percent of Americans have less than $10,000 saved up for retirement.
• 24 percent of American workers say that they have postponed their planned retirement age in the past year. [Retire to what?]

• Over 1.4 million Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, which represented a 32 percent increase over 2008.
• Only the top 5 percent of U.S. households have earned enough additional income to match the rise in housing costs since 1975.
• For the first time in U.S. history, banks own a greater share of residential housing net worth in the United States than all individual Americans put together. [And whose fault is that 2009 mortgage debaucle, hmmm?]

• In 1950, the ratio of the average executive's paycheck to the average worker's paycheck was about 30 to 1. Since the year 2000, that ratio has exploded to between 300 to 500 to one.
• As of 2007, the bottom 80 percent of American households held about 7% of the liquid financial assets. [There is that 80-20 rule again.]
• The bottom 50 percent of income earners in the United States now collectively own less than 1 percent of the nation’s wealth. [And do not pay taxes or receive earned income tax credits.]

• Average Wall Street bonuses for 2009 were up 17 percent when compared with 2008. [The Ruling Class?]
• In the United States, the average federal worker now earns 60% MORE than the average worker in the private sector. [Big Sugar Daddy Government is eating away our income and killing the business sector.]
• The top 1 percent of U.S. households own nearly twice as much of America's corporate wealth as they did just 15 years ago.

• In America today, the average time needed to find a job has risen to a record 35.2 weeks. [Why look for a job when Big Sugar Daddy Gov will give you an unemployment check to live comfortably.]
• More than 40 percent of Americans who actually are employed are now working in service jobs, which are often very low paying.
• or the first time in U.S. history, more than 40 million Americans are on food stamps, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture projects that number will go up to 43 million Americans in 2011. [Have you seen any of the reports over the years on our prosperous welfare recipients?]

• This is what American workers now must compete against: in China a garment worker makes approximately 86 cents an hour and in Cambodia a garment worker makes approximately 22 cents an hour. [There have always been new jobs to replace the buggy whip jobs.]
• Approximately 21 percent of all children in the United States are living below the poverty line in 2010 - the highest rate in 20 years. [Look at the educational performance of our school - our current children and their parents.]
• Despite the financial crisis, the number of millionaires in the United States rose a whopping 16 percent to 7.8 million in 2009. [It is difficult to improve your situation when achievers are running and others are losing ground for lack of education, self-discipline or motivation.]

• The top 10 percent of Americans now earn around 50 percent of our national income. [And 50 per cent of the population pays no taxes or receives earned income tax credits.]

Added notes from the right jack are needed. If it is going to be, it is up to me, not Big Sugar Daddy Government. Show us the prosperous socialist states.

Cuts everywhere

Real estate sales down. Layoffs everywhere. Banks slow to lend. Few small business jobs being created. Unemployment over 10% in some areas + 7% or more not even looking for jobs. Construction slow. Pensions cut. National debt up to $3.7 trillion. More government jobs created. Dollar weakens against other currencies. Approval rate of Congress at 11%.

Media paints a fairly rosey picture of the economy.

Those who depend on the US government and Democrats in particular are doing well compared to the rest of the economic sectors.

The link below is well worth reading for anyone who has friends and relatives in law enforcement. On top of this scenario, other city services and education are being cut too.

These facts do not provide a rosey outlook during this economic downturn over the past 18-24 months particularly when cities, counties and states [not to mention our own US of A] have spent money like there will be no tomorrow.

Seriously, Bo, the Obama family dog, flew into Maine for the family vacation on his own plane. From Maine’s Morning Sentinel:

Millions to South Korean car battery plant to be built in Netherlands. No benefit to USA. [unable to document, yet]

Nancy Pelosi jets back and forth to California on military jets. Cost is $60,000 one way or $480,000 per month or $5,760,000 per year. She wants us to buy smaller cars. [Not exactly true but it makes a good story.]

More spending news at it develops. Maybe we can find some $500 golf balls with imbedded GPS locator devices for the president and his pals.

ObamaCare, another look

Get ready for your life to change. The so-called benefits of ObamaCare don’t start until 2014, but the tax increases, misallocated resources and federal regulations start now.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi famously said the night of ObamCare’s passage, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it …” The emerging picture is frightening.

ObamaCare dramatically alters the already-overregulated health insurance market. The federal government will now manage your health care decisions. The law creates a maze of mandates, federal directives, price controls, tax increases and subsidies.

We all begin paying ObamaCare taxes this year. The law includes at last count at least 19 new taxes. As Americans begin to reap the personal financial burden of Obamacare, the movement to repeal it is mounting.

Individuals must pay an annual penalty of $695, or up to 2.5 percent of their annual income, if they don’t purchase an approved health insurance plan. Penalties on families include an annual penalty of $347 per child, up to $2,250 per family, if parents don’t purchase an approved policy.

Most of us have heard about the penalties on employers. Business owners must buy a government -approved health plan or pay a penalty of $2,000 per employee if they have 50 employees or more.
Investors get whacked hard. ObamaCare imposes a 3.8 percent tax on investment income for individuals making $200,000 or more and on families making $250,000 or more. The investment tax is not indexed for inflation, so as time passes more people will be expected to pay. Seniors on fixed incomes and pensioners with IRAs and 401(k) plans will be hit hard.

The so-called “Tax on ‘Cadillac’ health plans” imposes a 40 percent tax on health care plans valued at $10,200 for individuals and $27,500 for families.

Medicare taxes are climbing up, too. The bill requires single people earning $200,000 or more and couples earning $250,000 or more to pay an additional 0.9 percent in Medicare taxes.

Thinking about downsizing or buying a new home? There are new taxes on home sales tacked on the bill. ObamaCare imposes a 3.8 percent tax on home sales and other real estate transactions. Almost every homeowner qualifies as “rich” for one day, the day they sell their house.

Taxes on medical devices will also be going up to 2.9 percent under ObamaCare.

And we can’t forget the new 10 percent tax on tanning.

ObamaCare empowers the IRS for enforcement. The IRS is hiring 16,500 new enforcement officials. The IRS will confiscate tax refunds, place liens on property and seek jail time if healthcare penalties and taxes are not paid.

But don’t despair. As of July 14,130 members of Congress have signed a discharge petition that will force Nancy Pelosi to hold a straight up-or-down vote on HR 4972, a bill, proposed by Congressman Steve King, that repeals ObamaCare.

In plain language, that means that the repeal of ObamaCare is actually within our grasp.

Congressman King is upbeat, saying: “I am optimistic that we will be able to attract the 218 signatures we will need to force a vote on repealing ObamaCare. … Signatures on the discharge petition have come more quickly than I had expected.”

Note from the right jack: Defeat ObamaCare. It is the human thing to do. Then put those who wrote it and voted for it out to pasture. And defund their Golden Congressional Pension too.

Democrat health care real estate tax

In the new health care bill - Did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax?

The bulk of these new taxes do not kick in until 2013. You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one.

If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 sales tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.

If you are a home buyer or a Realtor, Obama and the Democrats just handed you another obstacle that adds more restraints to your sales effort.

"Today, even though President Obama is against off shore drilling for our country, he signed an executive order to loan 2 Billion of our taxpayers dollars to a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company (which is the 8th largest company in the entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil! The oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China and NOT THE USA!

Now here's the real clincher ... the Chinese government is under contract to purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil"...

We have absolutely nothing to gain from this transaction whatsoever!

Wait, it gets more interesting. Think George Soros.

Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil Company and who would benefit most from this? It is American BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was one of President Obama's most generous financial supporter during his campaign.

Next time you think your hotel bill is too high, you might want to consider this:

My wife and I are traveling by car from Victoria to Prince George. Being Seniors, after almost eleven hours on the road, we were too tired to continue, and decided to take a room. But, we only planned to sleep for four hours and then get back on the road. When we checked out four hours later, the desk clerk handed us a bill for $350.00.

I explode and demandrd to know why the charge is so high. I told the clerk although it's a nice hotel, the rooms certainly aren't worth $350.00 for four hours. Then the clerk tells me that $350.00 is the 'standard rate.' I insisted on speaking to the Manager.

The Manager appears, listens to me, and then explains that the hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference centre that were available for us to use. "But we didn't use them," I said.

''Well, they are here, and you could have," explained the Manager.

He went on to explain that we could also have taken in one of the shows for which the hotel is famous. "We have the best entertainers from New York, Hollywood and Las Vegas perform here," the Manager says.

"But we didn't go to any of those shows," I said.

"Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replied.

No matter what amenity the Manager mentioned, I replied, "But we didn't use it!"

The Manager is unmoved, and eventually I gave up and agreed to pay.

I wrote a check and gave it to the Manager.

The Manager is surprised when he looks at the cheque. "But sir, this cheque is only made out for $50.00."

''That's correct. I charged you $300.00 for sleeping with my wife," I replied.

"But I didn't!" exclaims the Manager.

Do you suppose that illegal immigration has nothing to do with sinking the State of California, CA cities, CA school systems and CA retirement systems? Maybe wealthy Democrats should pay/give more and more of their income to help their state, cities and schools systems stay afloat. After all, it has been reported widely that the current US government does not have the money to bail out all of the rusting cities that are going broke, not to mention unions, auto mfgs and banks. Why not? If the allegations are true, then it is entirely possible that Barack Hussein Obama is INELIGIBLE to be President of the United States and may have committed the biggest political crime in American history right before our very eyes?

It would stand to reason that the media would investigate allegations of this magnitude... especially allegations coming from a man, such as Adams, who was in a position to credibly make such claims. It would even stand to reason that the Obama-Media would investigate this story in an attempt to discredit it... but no such luck... the Obama-Media has been not-so-strangely silent.

What Does Barack Hussein Obama Have To Hide?

Of course, Barack Hussein Obama could put the issue to rest and take the wind right out of Adams' sails right now by simply releasing his actual long form birth certificate.

But he won't. In fact he is still actively refusing to release his actual long form birth certificate.

He's dug in his heels and his underlings look down their noses at the American people and call legitimate questions “garbage” ... no explanations... no substantive reasons given.

And the one pivotal question that those who attempt to dismiss the controversy cannot answer is still: If Barack Hussein Obama has nothing to hide, what’s the problem? The more he resists, the more you have to wonder.

Meanwhile the liberal press is trying to drag this story (and Adams) into a dark alley and bludgeon it to death.

Adams recently told WorldNetDaily that he's been called "a Nazi, a skinhead, a racist, and a host of other epithets," even though his detractors could not point to anything in his "writing(s) or statements that would give credence to their claims."

And MSNBC's Keith Olbermann even went so far as to call Adams a "white supremacist." Of course Olbermann, as usual, had no facts to back-up such an accusation... it was nothing more than an unprovoked attempt to assassinate the character of a man who is making statements that run counter to the party-line being promoted by Barack Hussein Obama.

Not Conspiracy Theories... Just The Facts...

Here are some of the disturbing facts surrounding Barack Hussein Obama’s actual long form birth certificate – not rumors, not wild theories – just the facts.

FACT #1: Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States states, "No person except a natural born citizen of the United States, at the time of adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President..." It's NOT a technicality, or lunacy on the part of our Founding Fathers. It is a specific statement within a document that forms the basis for ALL of our laws and not open to interpretation (unless the entire Constitution should be now open to interpretation).

FACT #2: In order to be a "natural born citizen," you must be born in the United States or, if you are born abroad, you CAN (if specific circumstances are met) inherit citizenship status from your parents. If he was born abroad, then that's a problem for Barack Hussein Obama because his father was NOT a citizen of the United States and his mother had not lived in the United States the required amount of time after attaining the age of majority when Obama was born - meaning SHE COULD NOT pass citizenship on to Obama.

FACT #3: If Barack Hussein Obama WAS NOT born in the United States, he IS NOT a "natural born citizen" and if that is the case, Obama is guilty of perpetuating the most massive fraud in the history of the United States.

FACT #4: Barack Hussein Obama has actively refused to produce his actual long form birth certificate to the people who elected him. Under Hawaiian law, only Obama can legally release the document but he just won't do it. Why not?

FACT #5: Instead of producing an actual long form birth certificate, Team Obama pulled some sleight-of-hand and produced another document – a “Certification of Live Birth” – and said, in effect, “Here’s his Birth Certificate! Now shut up.”

And, in light of Adams' allegations, FACT #5 is of particular importance. To put it in Adams' own words:

"I was told, at the time, that there was no long form birth record, which would have been the case if President Obama was born in hospital in Honolulu... there is no such form in Hawaii. He does have a Certificate of Live Birth which is given to children of families who were residents of Hawaii when children are born outside the state. So I assert that he was born outside of Hawaii." [Emphasis Ours]

Adams also said: "Anyone can get that [Certification of Live Birth]. They are normally given if you give birth at home or while traveling overseas. ... It's quite common for people to come back and get that."

So why won't the Main Stream Obama-Media investigate these allegations? Why won't the Main Stream Media air the facts? Your guess is as good as ours but don't hold your breathe waiting for them to stop distorting and start reporting.

Dhimmitude

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to islam.

The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia muslim diktat in the United States. Muslims may be specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling," "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims may be specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I, John Smith, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, cars et cetera and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax.

Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance at our expence. Non-muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude.

Dhimmitude serves two purposes: it enriches the muslim masters AND serves to drive conversions to islam. In this case, the incentive to convert to islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well as the godless Generation X, Y and Z types who have no moral anchor or belief in God! If you don't believe in Christ to begin with, it is no problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. "Sure, I'll be a muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, brother?" Now all you Obama voters get in line for your free stuff! However, I suggest you don't hold your breath!

I recommend sending this email to all your contacts. This is desperately important and people need to know about it and what the past election has done to all of us!

PS: Have you heard about the summit Obama is holding this month in DC for the future Muslim business leaders in the US? He wants to increase their ability to begin business opportunities in the US for the Muslim community! Better start looking for a country that doesn't cater to the Muslims. Austrailia doesn't because this country will be overrun by Muslims like Europe is currently experiencing. And you thought our problem was the Mexicans!

I had my doubts so I checked with Snopes. There is an exemption for "certain religious groups" in the Health Care Bill. Obama supporters check it out yourself.

Amish and other religious groups may be exempt from forced purchase of healthcare policies under Obama care. You know what other groups this could include? Muslims and Christian Scientists may be exempt from having to have government healthcare.

Note that Muslims and certain other religions are exempt from the Obamacare penalties and it is supported by law. We are surrendering from within! The prez is leading us right down the path to total Muslim control and you don't care! Maybe you voted for him but now the truth comes out. Maybe you should rethink what you have done.

Labor outspends Corporations

Despite Ruling, Labor Spending More Than Corporations On Campaign Ads

Labor unions have dominated spending on independent campaign ads so far this election season, despite a recent Supreme Court decision that freed spending by corporations, a Washington Post analysis shows. The findings are an indication that corporate money is not flooding into campaigns as many predicted would happen after the landmark decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission.

So far this year, $24.7 million in independent spending has been reported to the" FEC, "campaign filings show. Unions have spent $9.7 million [39% of the total], compared with $6.4 million (26%) spent by individuals and $3.4 million spent by corporations.

The current occupant of the White House claims to know how to create jobs. He claims jobs have been created. But so far the score is Great Obama Depression 2.2 million lost jobs, Obama 0 -- a blowout.

Obama is as hopeless, helpless, clueless and bankrupt of good ideas as the manager of the Chicago Cubs in late September. This "community organizer" knows as much about private-sector jobs as Pamela Anderson knows about nuclear physics.

It's time to call Obama what he is: The Great Jobs Killer.

With his massive spending and tax hikes -- rewarding big government and big unions, while punishing taxpayers and business owners -- Obama has killed jobs, he has killed motivation to create new jobs, he has killed the motivation to invest in new businesses, or expand old ones. With all this killing, Obama should be given the top spot on the FBI's Most Wanted List.

"One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering."

The General and the Community Organizer

Channel-surfing from ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN through MSNBC and Fox News, the inside-the-beltway pundits had a field day trying to get inside the heads of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, General Stanley McChrystal, and McChrystal’s top aides. The one thing common to all of the analyses, by the most famous and highly-paid talking heads in the Western World, was that they are all wrong… dead wrong. What is certain is that they all owe General McChrystal and his senior aides an apology for assuming that they are lame-brained numbskulls.

The facts of the McChrystal case are not in dispute. General McChrystal and his senior officers allowed a reporter for Rolling Stone Magazine, Michael Hastings, to have almost unprecedented access during an extended stay in Paris. The extended stay was due, in part, to an excess of atmospheric ash from Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano, keeping the McChrystal party grounded for days.

In an interview with CNN, Hastings reported that he had a tape recorder in his hand most of the time and that McChrystal was “very aware” that his comments would find their way into print. He said, “McChrystal and his people set no ground rules for their conversations, although they did ask that some parts of their conversations were off the record.” Hastings subsequently published a lengthy profile of General McChrystal on June 22, titled, The Runaway General.

As Hastings wrote in his profile, McChrystal thought that Obama looked “uncomfortable and intimidated” by the roomful of military brass during their first meeting. Of their second meeting, an advisor to McChrystal quoted the general as saying that it was “a 10-minute photo op.” He went on to say, “Obama clearly didn’t know anything about (McChrystal), who he was. Here’s the guy who’s going to run his f_ _ _ing war, but he didn’t seem very engaged. The Boss was pretty disappointed.”

As General McChrystal flew from Afghanistan to Washington to face Obama in the Oval Office, the almost unanimous opinion of the talking heads was that the comments made by McChrystal and his staff were off the cuff and inadvertent. But to believe that is to totally ignore who these men are.

General McChrystal and his top officers are not simple-minded, knuckle-dragging brutes To the contrary, they are intelligent, thoughtful, highly educated, patriots… graduates of West Point and other fine universities… who are dedicated to duty, honor, and country. To think that such men would be so careless as to speak unflatteringly of Obama, Biden, and other top administration figures, in the presence of a reporter for a notoriously left wing publication, defies logic… at the very least. To think that men who are trained to be careful and deliberate in everything they do, could do something so careless and so unguarded is simply beyond comprehension.

I would argue that McChrystal and his aides knew exactly what they were doing.

From the day that he became the handpicked “spear carrier” for Obama’s unique brand of warfare… playing at being Commander in Chief while playing to his far left constituency… McChrystal’s life had been one of constant frustration. After telling Obama exactly how many troops he needed to carry out his mission, Obama dithered for months before deciding to give him just half the troops he requested. McChrystal could not have been happy about that.

The Obama team insisted on new Rules of Engagement designed to reduce collateral damage (civilian casualties). Obama’s ROE required that U.S. troops must be able to see the enemy with weapon in hand before they were allowed to return fire. One videotape circulated on the Internet showed a platoon of Marines pinned down by enemy sniper fire. But since the enemy was firing from some distance behind the open window of a building, the Marines could not actually see the weapon being fired. Although they were taking deadly fire, they were prohibited by the ROE from putting small arms fire or an RPG through the window opening.

Under Obama’s politically correct ROE, our soldiers and Marines were required to fight with one hand tied behind their backs. McChrystal could not have been happy about that.

A strict new interrogation policy, dictated by Attorney General Eric Holder, required that prisoners must be delivered to an Interrogation Center within twenty-four hours of being captured or be released. A great deal of actionable intelligence was lost as a result and battle-hardened enemy fighters were returned to the field to kill Americans. McChrystal must have found that to be incomprehensible.

But the greatest insult to our troops in the field, and to the officers who lead them, may be a new battlefield medal designed by the Obama team. It is called the Courageous Restraint Medal and is awarded to soldiers and Marines who demonstrate uncommon restrain in combat by not firing their weapons even when they feel threatened by the enemy. Would we be surprised to learn that the preponderance of these medals were awarded posthumously? McChrystal must have found that to be an insanity.

I suggest that, having his best military judgments subjected to the White House political sieve for nearly a year and a half, McChrystal decided that he’d had enough. And when he announced to his senior staff that he was prepared to retire they decided to push back… to make the most of a bad situation. It was clear that, if McChrystal were to simply take off his uniform and walk away, his retirement would be page-twenty news for a day or two before the mainstream media and the American people forgot all about him.

They had to make the most of his retirement because it provided a one-time opportunity to show the American people, as well as our enemies and our allies, that the man who claims the title of Commander in Chief of the U.S. military does not command the respect of our men and women in uniform. To make the most of that opportunity they had to choose their messenger very carefully.

They knew that, by openly showing their disrespect for Obama in front of just any newsman, they may not attract the attention they desired. Like any astute observer of the MSM, they knew that most reporters would turn on their own mothers if it meant a good story. But they could not take a chance that a mainstream media reporter might suffer a rare pang of conscience when confronted with the prospect of ruining the careers of some of the most senior officers in the War on Terror.

They had to fix the odds as much as possible in their favor so they chose to use Michael Hastings and Rolling Stone Magazine.

During the long hours that General McChrystal was in the air between Kabul and Washington, Obama knew that he had just two choices… both bad. He could declare McChrystal to be an irreplaceable asset in the war effort, give him a public reprimand, and send him back to Kabul. Or he could fire McChrystal, sending a clear message that, at least in his own mind, he was the Commander in Chief.

In the former case, he was certain to appear weak and ineffectual… a man not totally in charge. In the latter case, he might at least win a few rave reviews from the Kool-Ade drinkers in the mainstream media. He chose the latter of the two options.

But what is now lost in all of the hand-wringing and speculation is the fact that McChrystal and his people have succeeded in doing exactly what they set out to do. They wanted to plant the seed in the minds of the American people that Obama is not up to the task of being Commander in Chief and that he does not command the respect of the men and women of the uniformed services… from the newest Private E-1 up to the top four-star generals and admirals.

That seed is now firmly planted and it cannot be unplanted.

From this day forward, no one will have to tell the American people that Stanley McChrystal is a true warrior, a man’s man, and that Barack Obama is nothing more than a… community organizer.
