Really? December 2010
Highlights of the Month:
Happy New Year. Keep the pressure on the Democrats and like minded RINOs.
Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Ho. Ho. Ho. There, I said it.
Grinchification . . . see the right jack post
Democrat Economics. Unemployment payments said to create 600,000 jobs. So if we were all on unemployment benefits, there will be jobs for everyone. What happens when the well runs dry? Does anybody care?
The political Left has been talking about global gun control since the 1960s. Do not take it for granted that anything the Left has been trying to accomplish during the Obama administration will ever stop.
Are Democrats across the nation from Massachusetts to Michigan to Illinois to California intentionally trying to destroy the US economy with unsustainable spending programs in order to initiate a government controlled socialist economy? -trj
Rich or Poor. When was the last time you got a job from a poor person. -trj
Now on to posts from the right jack
Best political strategy: Shouting racism for any and all criticism of or disagreements with Obama strategies and policies.
Gov Bill Richardson [D-NM] refuses to pardon Billy the Kid. Seems odd since prisoners are among the highly favored special interest groups of Democrats.
Remember: Prisoners received absentee ballots for our past November elections when these same ballots were delayed or never sent to our soldiers and workers overseas. In some cases, overseas ballots were not counted, even when returned.
Slow down snow plow strike by unions. NY Governor selects his words carefully in not mentioning unions as The Cause of NYC snow removal problems.
George Soros and his shadow empire are secretly funneling millions of dollars into to extremist anti-gun organizations to pass a global gun ban. After disarming America, Soros will move forward in his master plan for a UN controlled world government. [Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms] See movie titled The International featuring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts, 2009 -trj
Juarez, Mexico is dying just like various trendy malls have done in the USA because of criminal and gang activity. In the case of Mexico, it is ruthless drug gangs.
Palin. Back in the day, Teddy Roosevelt was considered a rough and tough outdoorsman and avid conservationist, Yet Sarah Palin is continually trashed by Democrats and their puppets in the Big Time Dying US Media for similar activities. -trj
Katic Couric suggests that we need a muslim version of the Cosby Show. How about What's My View. Have muslim man and muslim woman in a burka sitting in chairs next to the moderator where panel members ask them questions about their views on education for women, clothing styles for women, views on femininity, marriage options, male domination, suicide preferences, and allegiances.
Letter to the Editor writer gives Tea Party 180 days to reduce unemployment to 5%, balance the budget and create a surplus or the writer threatens to “start a campaign to get our country back.” Indisputable visual evidence of the blind allegiance on the Left. 12/30/10 [It will take 10 years or more to fix the US economy after what the Democrats have done to it in just 2 years.]
Just finished "Priceless" by Robert Wittman of the FBI Art Crime Team. Guess what? Bureaucratic maneuvering by top dogs killed undercover operations over turf battles and eventually killed the unit. Good read if you like art and who-done-its.
RINOs who supported Democrat legislation that goes against the wishes of a majority of the American voters are next target for removal from office.
Tell your Congressmen & Senators to JUST SAY NO!

About 100 banks bailed out by Big Gov are teetering on brink of bankruptcy again, The Wall Street Journal reports. Seven TARP recipients have gone under already, taking more than $2.7 billion in TARP funds with them. [Wall Street Journal] 2007 Dem Congress lead that TARP effort. Bush took advice of Dems in his administration, caved and went along with the Dems. Bush gets all the blame. Dems want to do it all over again.
Global warming over? For 2nd winter in a row, icy weather has struck US and Europe. Al Gore's global warming theory may be going up in smoke. New data suggests Earth may be cooling, not warming. [Oh no! Global Climate Change. -trj]
Obama Health Care death panels in full strategy mode. Remember that death panels do not exist according to Obama, the undocumented US citizen, and the Big Time Dying Media.
USA has 5% of the world’s population, but approximately 25% of the world’s incarcerated population. According to US Bureau of Justice Statistics, as of the end of 2009 a total of 7,225,800 people were either on probation, in prison or on parole in America. [Freedom is not for sissies. People must learn to control their own behavior without having a gun to their head as has been done throughout history in tyrannical regimes lead by despots who control their people by fear of beatings, death and lifetime imprisonment. -trj]
LTC Terry Lakin has been sentenced and sent to Leavenworth for doing what others should have done, which was to question the legality of Obama orders. He did so in accordance with his training as an officer and his Oath to the US Constitution. German solders after WWII were executed for NOT disobeying order from their officers.
News of our political estrangements takes no Christmas holiday.
Politicians, Democrat and Republican, who are not willing to drastically cut spending need to be replaced as soon as possible. We can no longer afford big spenders. Giveaways and entitlements are over for those who can produce but are not producing.

Similar pension stories developing in San Diego and Villejo CA, Illinois, Maryland, Colorado, Minnesota, South Dakota, New Jersey. New York. Spending cuts not seen as an option by payees and unions even when there is no money.
Borders. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., called for the US border to become an "irrelevancy" at a so-called spiritual conference that was led by extremists, including a Marxist who reportedly compared the tea party movement to Hitler. [www.visiontoamerica.org]
Census and Taxes. States that lost House seats because they are shrinking, relative to the nation, had taxes 27% higher than the ones that gained seats. States that gained House seats had lower taxes. [NY Post 12/23/10]
Southern Illinois University tells unions that salary cuts are needed. Agree or be fired. Some unions not willing to cut wages, even in tough economic times.
Cities on the verge of bankruptcy: San Diego. New York. San Jose. Cincinnati. Honolulu. San Francisco. Los Angeles. Washington DC. Newark NJ. Detroit. Reading PA. Joliet IL. Camden NJ. Hamtramack MI. Central Falls RI. Paterson NJ. Chicago. CA excels with 4. NJ with 3. MI IL tied with 2.
Solution by Democrats for the above problems: Increase all government wages. Increase city employee pensions. Unionize. Cover more union pensions. Increase and extend unemployment payments. Pay teachers more. Hire more federal employees. Open US boarders per UN wishes. Raise taxes. Blame Republicans for wanting to slash budgets.
Obama still intent on government taking control of the internet through the FCC in order to control [i.e, approve, censor] content. Seen as a freedom of speech issue by opponents.
New FCC rules passed - Not yet published. Congress bypassed again. Transparency by Dems not happening again. Republicans counter that nothing is broken that needs to be fixed. See China internet censorship.
WV school district in Cabell County removes all swing sets from schools for fear of law suites and associated costs. "We're disabling our swings to keep us out of the courtroom. Economically, school districts are really having to watch their budgets closely."
Politicized FCC and Dems to target talk radio. Obama wants to censor and preferably silence talk radio. Big Time Dying Media that is composed largely of Democrats gets a pass when it comes to media bias. 12/23/10
Republicans turncoats who voted Democrat in lame duck legislation: Thad Cochran, MS. Bob Corker, TN. Mike Crapo, ID. Tom Coburn, OK. Lamar Alexander, TN. Johnny Isakson, GA. Thad Cocheran, MS. Bob Corker, TN. Why? They went against what the people wanted in the November election. No 2nd chance. They need to be booted out in the next primary.
James Clapper, Obama Director of National Intelligence, not briefed by staff on London terrorist arrests. 12/22/10. [It is OK. It was a Democrat snafu. Media only roasts Republicans who mess up. -trj]
Best cities for business; 1st is Washington DC [pork capital of the USA]. Then Omaha NE. Boston. Des Moines IA. Minneapolis-St Paul. Denver. Richmond VA. New York. Harrisburg PA. And Seattle at #10. Bottom 10: At 102 is Fresno. Then Stockton going up the ladder. Scranton. Modesto. Youngstown OH. Sacramento. Riverside CA. New Haven. Bradenton FL. Bakersfield at 93rd worst. Six Ca cities in the bottom 10. Detroit checks in at #86. Learn anything?
Christians who attend worship services in Mission KS [KC suburb] will ante up for new thousand-dollar city "fees" assessed against churches based on number of seats in their sanctuaries. Taxes disguised as fees! [WND] A take off on the Obama Health Care tax or fee? -trj
START arms treaty is another Democrat give away. Good for Russia. Bad deal for USA. Military expert says that Russia gives up when they do not want. US gives up what we need.
Chavez and Iran reach agreement to place Iranian missiles in Venezuela that can reach the USA and will train their military personnel on how to use them.
New Obama START arms treaty takes away our ability to defend the Southern US against missile attacks from crazy dictators like Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.
Obama & Dems emulate Chinese Internet Policy: China enforces strict internet censorship through 60 laws & countless draconian administrative regulations. These laws gag critical opinions, corruption exposes & speech that protest their government. They employ 50,000 people who act as internet police, scouring the internet for offenders to punish [i.e, imprison and cleanse? -trj]. [American Political Action Committee]
Obama to find $100 million in savings in the budget. Wow. See visual explanation by clicking here.
Scott Brown [R-MA] who replaced Ted Kennedy is proving to be a liberal RINO who votes with the Dems. He is up for reelection in 2012. Will likely be replaced by a real Democrat as he should have little or no Republican support.
50% of all who call themselves Democrats believe the US Government should control the economy.
See Notable Government Failures here at the right jack for evidence that the US Government lead by the US Congress is totally inept at oversight and managing nearly everything.
Top 5% of US Taxpayers pay more taxes than the “bottom” 95% combined.
The bottom 47% to 49% of US citizens pay no income taxes. When this reaches 51%, the US economy is doomed. Non-taxpaying voters and their elected Representatives will milk the US Taxpayers dry, and so goes the US economy.
When I joined the military it was illegal to be homosexual, then it became optional. I'm getting out before Obama makes it mandatory. - - - GySgt Harry Berres, USMC

Bush tax cuts continue. Congressional Dems unhappy. They want more and more tax money to squander on their constituents to buy votes.
Outrageous omnibus spending bill defeated. Loaded with earmarks.
Big Dem Gov wants to spend more money. Unemployment trending upward from 4+% to nearly 10% with 16% to 18% real unemployment since Democrats took over Congress in 2007. Do you see a relationship between Gov spending and unemployment?
Liberals have sneaked $1.1 trillion dollars in earmarks and additional spending into 1,924 page bill with 6,488 earmarks to cover government spending for rest of fiscal year. Dems hope to bypass review process and get bill passed into law ObamaCare-style!
Conservatives want to cut taxes and slash spending to balance the budget. Democrats see this a hurting the poor women, children and blacks. The way I see it, politicians are the ones being hurt. Less money to bribe people to vote for them. –trj
Dream Act = Amnesty. In the House vote LaRaza was able to find EIGHT [8] Republican turncoats to vote for the "Nightmare [Dream] Act." The American People, once again, were sold out by the very people in the House who claim to represent our interests.

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano signed an agreement in Mexico with little fanfare that would extend special "trusted traveler" access to the US to an estimated 84 million Mexicans. These internationals will get though US airport security much easier and faster than will US citizens. Comforting, si?

Sober Drivers. Please, take care of yourself this Christmas. A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles indicates 23% of traffic accidents are alcohol related. This means the remaining 77% are caused by a##holes who just drink coffee, carbonated drinks, juices, milk, water, and s##t like that. Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol. They cause three times as many accidents. This message is sent by someone who cares about your well being.
I was stunned if not puzzled to see 2 racks full of 5-6 different Obama puzzles for children in Wal-Mart while shopping for Christmas presents yesterday. When was the last time you saw that obvious indoctrination of our children. Looked to me like there were few takers. Maybe Wal-Martians have figured it out. -trj 12/12/10

Democrat Economics. Tax cuts. In the past, tax cuts by Kennedy, Reagan and Bush have resulted in more revenue coming into the Federal coffers. High taxes = less revenue to Big Gov. Why do Democrats insist on ignoring this basic economic fact of governance? Absolutely befuddling, is it not, unless they have other motives? -trj

Climate. At Cancunmesse press conference David Rothbard told those assembled that there is not now and never has been a scientific consensus supporting catastrophic man-made warming, nor is consensus an appropriate scientific approach. Science must be grounded in such inconvenient approaches as fact, openness and verification. The Morano report can be downloaded at ClimateDepot.com.
Kyoto. NPR report this morning somehow neglects to mention the voluntary reduction in CO2 emissions by US industry. Yet, USA is still the problem. Russia, China and India not complying. Rest of the world is the problem. Why? Kyoto is nothing more than an effort to get the US to transfer Billions to despot nations in the name of CO2 and climate change. 12/11/10
Democrats direct a number of well placed F-bombs at Obama over tax bill. Dems want all the tax revenue they can confiscate from us. Higher unemployment obviously not their concern. -trj

Why there are so few new jobs. Tom Donohue, president of US Chamber of Commerce, says businesses considering hiring new workers face a "regulatory tsunami" from Obama Administration. Hurdles include 200 new rules from EPA, 100 new regulations from Department of Labor, 183 new agencies under Obamacare, and 540 rules and 170 new reports under new financial regulation bill. Combine with vast uncertainty about what their tax rates will be next year, is it any wonder that most companies are playing wait and see? [Livingston Letter]
Earmarks. 2 problems: While the House may have taken up an earmark ban, there is nothing to stop representatives from ordering their pork over the phone. "They still will be able to call or write to federal agencies to ask that funds are spent on projects they recommend, and there is currently no official record of how often representatives and senators do this, reports TheDC's Matthew Boyle. "Though the process, dubbed 'phone-marking,' doesn’t forcibly require those federal agencies to grant congressional members’ request, they frequently do because of the clout representatives and senators carry in Washington. Brian Riedl of the The Heritage Foundation said the only difference between phone-marks and earmarks is that there is no 'paper trail' of members’ requests. Riedl said federal agencies grant the requests more often than not for fear of their budgets being cut by spurned legislators." Will Republicans take up a phone-mark ban as well? Probably not! [Daily Caller]
China. Top Democratic fundraisers and lobbyists with links to White House are behind proposed wind farm in Texas that stands to get $450 million in stimulus money, even though a Chinese company would operate the farm and its turbines would be built in China. Unemployment situation is worse than you thought: "Nearly 6 million Americans looked for work but weren’t able to find employment at all last year," reports the Wall Street Journal. A report released Wednesday by the Labor Department "highlights the long-term unemployment problem that’s likely to linger for years. Some 5.8 million job-seekers were without work for the entire year in 2009, an increase of 2.7 million from a year earlier." The problem is so bad, in fact, that the Labor Department is going to change how it tracks unemployment. "Starting in January," reports the WSJ, "the Labor Department will begin tracking unemployment durations for up to five years instead of two years." [Daily Caller]
Can you imagine what nasty things the Big Time Dying Media would be saying about this absolutely criminal unemployment situation were Bush 43 president. -trj
Ground Zero Mosque developers seeking $5 million US taxpayer-funded federal grant to help pay for radical monument that covertly serves as a silent memorial to what extremist Muslims claim was a victory against the "Great Satan" - the United States of America. 70% of Americans oppose this commemorative mosque at this location. [WND]
Parent Trigger. In Compton, CA, more than 260 parents will pull first ever "parent trigger" in a bid to transform a failing public school, reports the Wall Street Journal. See 3 points below . . .
• Under a California law passed in January, parents can trigger a change in governance at some 1,300 schools that have failed to make "adequate yearly progress" for four consecutive years. [Why wait 4 years?]
• If at least 51 percent of the parents sign a petition, they can shut the school down, shake up its administration or invite a charter operator to take over.
• Charters that open as a result of parent triggers must accept all students from the original school.
The Left complains that extension of the Bush 43 tax cuts will not reduce the deficit. They are absolutely right. The deficit will not come down until Congress freezes spending increases and cuts spending at the same time. Stimulus spending
Sometime this year, we taxpayers will again receive another 'Economic Stimulus' payment.
This is indeed a very exciting program, and will explain it by using a Q & A format:
Q. What is an 'Economic Stimulus' payment?
A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.
Q. Where will the government get this money?
A. From taxpayers.
Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?
A. Only a smidgen of it.
Q. What is the purpose of this payment?
A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.
Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China?
A. Shut up.
Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the U.S. Economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:
• If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China or Sri Lanka.
• If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to the Arabs or our friends in Venezuela.
• If you purchase a computer, it will go to India, Taiwan or China.
• If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.
• If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea.
• If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan.
• If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go to management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.
Instead, keep the money in America by:
1) Spending it at yard sales, or
2) Going to ball games, or
3) Spending it on prostitutes, or
4) Beer or
5) Tattoos.
These are the only American businesses still operating in the U.S.
Conclusion:
Go to a ball game with a tattooed prostitute that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day!
No need to thank me, I am just glad I could be of help.

He grasped me firmly, but gently, just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone.
He approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice, close to my ear. "Just relax. .. . "
Without warning, he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing and moving upward along my calves, slowly, but steadily. My breath caught in my throat.
I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn't care. His touch was so experienced, so sure.
When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a slight shudder, and I partly closed my eyes. My pulse was pounding. I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my ribcage. And then, as he cupped my firm, full breasts in his hands, I inhaled sharply.
Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine and into my panties.
Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant.
This is a man, I thought. A man used to taking charge. A man not used to taking "no" for an answer. A man who would tell me what he wanted. A man who would look into my soul and say . . . . .
"Okay, ma'am," said a voice. "All done."
My eyes snapped open and he was standing in front of me, smiling, holding out my purse.
"You can board your flight now."
Shhh. Obama Health Care Transparency
From the Washington Post:
Government by regulation. Shhh.
By Charles Krauthammer
Friday, December 31, 2010
Most people don't remember Obamacare's notorious Section 1233, mandating government payments for end-of-life counseling. It aroused so much anxiety as a possible first slippery step on the road to state-mandated late-life rationing that the Senate never included it in the final health-care law.
Well, it's back - by administrative fiat. A month ago, Medicare issued a regulation providing for end-of-life counseling during annual "wellness" visits. It was all nicely buried amid the simultaneous release of hundreds of new Medicare rules.
Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.), author of Section 1233, was delighted. "Mr. Blumenauer's office celebrated 'a quiet victory,' but urged supporters not to crow about it," reports the New York Times. Deathly quiet. In early November, his office sent an e-mail plea to supporters: "We would ask that you not broadcast this accomplishment out to any of your lists . . . e-mails can too easily be forwarded." They had been lucky that "thus far, it seems that no press or blogs have discovered it. . . . The longer this [regulation] goes unnoticed, the better our chances of keeping it."
So much for the Democrats' transparency - and for their repeated claim that the more people learn what is in the health-care law, the more they will like it. Turns out ignorance is the Democrats' best hope.
And regulation is their perfect vehicle - so much quieter than legislation. Consider two other regulatory usurpations in just the past few days:
On Dec. 23, the Interior Department issued Secretarial Order 3310, reversing a 2003 decision and giving itself the authority to designate public lands as "Wild Lands." A clever twofer: (1) a bureaucratic power grab - for seven years up through Dec. 22, wilderness designation had been the exclusive province of Congress , and (2) a leftward lurch - more land to be "protected" from such nefarious uses as domestic oil exploration in a country disastrously dependent on foreign sources.
The very same day, the Environmental Protection Agency declared that in 2011 it would begin drawing up anti-carbon regulations on oil refineries and power plants, another power grab effectively enacting what Congress had firmly rejected when presented as cap-and-trade legislation.
For an Obama bureaucrat, however, the will of Congress is a mere speed bump. Hence this regulatory trifecta, each one moving smartly left - and nicely clarifying what the spirit of bipartisan compromise that President Obama heralded in his post-lame-duck Dec. 22 news conference was really about: a shift to the center for public consumption and political appearance only.
On that day, Obama finally embraced the tax-cut compromise he had initially excoriated, but only to avoid forfeiting its obvious political benefit - its appeal to independent voters who demand bipartisanship and are the key to Obama's reelection. But make no mistake: Obama's initial excoriation in his angry Dec. 7 news conference was the authentic Obama. He hated the deal.
Now as always, Obama's heart lies left. For those fooled into thinking otherwise by the new Obama of Dec. 22, his administration's defiantly liberal regulatory moves - on the environment, energy and health care - should disabuse even the most beguiled.
These regulatory power plays make political sense. Because Obama needs to appear to reclaim the center, he will stage his more ideological fights in yawn-inducing regulatory hearings rather than in the dramatic spotlight of congressional debate. How better to impose a liberal agenda on a center-right nation than regulatory stealth?
It's Obama's only way forward during the next two years. He will never get past the half-Republican 112th Congress what he could not get past the overwhelmingly Democratic 111th. He doesn't have the votes and he surely doesn't want the publicity. Hence the quiet resurrection, as it were, of end-of-life counseling.
Obama knows he has only so many years to change the country. In his first two, he achieved much: the first stimulus, Obamacare and financial regulation. For the next two, however, the Republican House will prevent any repetition of that. Obama's agenda will therefore have to be advanced by the more subterranean means of rule-by-regulation.
But this must simultaneously be mixed with ostentatious displays of legislative bipartisanship (e.g., the lame-duck tax-cut deal) in order to pull off the (apparent) centrist repositioning required for reelection. This, in turn, would grant Obama four more years when, freed from the need for pretense, he can reassert himself ideologically and complete the social-democratic transformation - begun Jan. 20, 2009; derailed Nov. 2, 2010 - that is the mission of his presidency.

Ridiculous crimes
Almost Everything Is A Crime In America Now
14 Of The Most Ridiculous Things That Americans Are Being Arrested For
Written by The Economic Collapse Blog - 12/28/10
Doesn’t it seem like almost everything is becoming a crime in America now? Americans are being arrested and charged with crimes for doing things like leaving dog poop on the ground, opening up Christmas presents early, not recycling properly, farting in class and having brown lawns.
But is it healthy for our society for the police to be involved in such silly things? Every single day the United States inches closer to becoming a totalitarian society. While there are some that would welcome this shift, the truth is that throughout history the societies that have experienced the greatest economic prosperity have all had at least a certain level of freedom. Business thrives when people feel free to live and work.
When a government tightens the grip too much many people just start shutting down. Just look at places like North Korea. Even though the rest of the world is sending them huge amounts of food starvation is still quite common in that totalitarian regime. That is why it is so disturbing that it seems like almost everything has become a crime in America now. As we continue to criminalize relatively normal behavior our slide toward becoming a totalitarian state will only accelerate.
We are throwing anyone and everyone in prison these days. It is getting absolutely ridiculous. Today, the United States leads the world in the number of prisoners and in the percentage of the population in prison. The United States has 5% of the world’s population, but approximately 25% of the world’s incarcerated population.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics, as of the end of 2009 a total of 7,225,800 people were either on probation, in prison or on parole in America.
That is a sign of a very, very sick society. Either we have a massive crime problem or the “control grid” that our leaders have erected for us is wildly out of control.
Or both.
But how in the world are we supposed to have a healthy economy if our entire nation is being turned into one gigantic prison?
Sadly, it is not just hardcore criminals that are being rounded up and abused by authorities these days. The following are 14 of the most ridiculous things that Americans are being arrested for….
#1 A Michigan man has been charged with a felony and could face up to 5 years in prison for reading his wife’s email.
#2 A 49-year-old Queens woman had bruises all over her body after she was handcuffed, arrested and brutally beaten by NYPD officers. So what was her offense? The officers thought that her little dog had left some poop that she didn’t clean up.
#3 A 56-year-old woman who was once a rape victim refused to let airport security officials feel her breasts so she was thrown to the floor, put in handcuffs and arrested.
#4 In Milwaukee, one man was recently fined $500 for swearing on a public bus.
#5 Several years ago a 12-year-old boy in South Carolina was actually arrested by police for opening up a Christmas present early against his family’s wishes.
#6 In some areas of the country, it is now a crime to not recycle properly. For example, the city of Cleveland has announced plans to sort through trash cans to ensure that people are actually recycling according to city guidelines.
#7 A 12-year-old girl from Queens was arrested earlier this year and taken out of her school in handcuffs for writing “Lex was here. 2/1/10″ and “I love my friends Abby and Faith” on her desk.
#8 Back in 2008, a 13-year-old boy in Florida was actually arrested by police for farting in class.
#9 The feds recently raided an Amish farmer at 5 AM in the morning because they claimed that he was was engaged in the interstate sale of raw milk in violation of federal law.
#10 A few years ago a 10-year-old girl was arrested and charged with a felony for bringing a small steak knife to school. It turns out that all she wanted to do was to cut up her lunch so that she could eat it.
#11 On June 18th, two Christians decided that they would peacefully pass out copies of the gospel of John on a public sidewalk outside a public Islamic festival in Dearborn, Michigan and within three minutes 8 policemen surrounded them and placed them under arrest.
#12 A U.S. District Court judge slapped a 5oo dollar fine on Massachusetts fisherman Robert J. Eldridge for untangling a giant whale from his nets and setting it free. So what was his crime? Well, according to the court, Eldridge was supposed to call state authorities and wait for them do it.
#13 Once upon a time, a food fight in the cafeteria may have gotten you a detention. Now it may get you locked up. About a year ago, 25 students between the ages of 11 and 15 at a school in Chicago were taken into custody by police for being involved in a huge food fight in the school cafeteria.
#14 A few years ago a 70 year old grandmother was actually put in handcuffs and hauled off to jail for having a brown lawn.
Note from the right jack: While police are acting on these so-called crimes, real crimes are being ignored by the Obama [an undocumented citizen] Department of Justice lead by Eric Holder. Voter intimidation by thugs is just one example. Want another? How about illegals crossing our southern border and murdering US citizens. Our system of just had been upside down for years now with criminals having more rights that US taxpaying citizens. Just wait until Big Dem Gov starts throwing people in jail for speaking and writing against this leftist Democrat administration. Then there is the food police and the faux global warming police and the energy police.

Why unions are a threat
Sanitation workers neglected snowpocalypse to protest Mayor Bloomberg --
"Selfish Sanitation Department bosses from the snow-slammed outer boroughs ordered their drivers to snarl the blizzard cleanup to protest budget cuts --- a disastrous move that turned streets into a minefield for emergency-services vehicles," reports the New York Post.
Slammed by several feet of snow, New York City has turned into a classic example of a city whose government is incapable of meeting the basic requirements of governing. Now we know why: "They sent a message to the rest of the city that these particular labor issues are more important," said Queens councilmember Dan Halloran, who was earlier "visited by a group of guilt-ridden sanitation workers who confessed the shameless plot."
According to Halloran, "They were told [by supervisors] to take off routes [and] not do the plowing of some of the major arteries in a timely manner. They were told to make the mayor pay for the layoffs, the reductions in rank for the supervisors, shrinking the rolls of the rank-and-file." Three cheers for public servants.

Coyote In California
Tale of a Coyote In California
The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out, bites the Governor and attacks his dog.
1. The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realizes he should stop; the coyote is only doing what is natural.
2. He calls animal control. Animal Control captures coyote and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.
3. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.
4. The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.
5. The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is free of dangerous animals.
6. The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a "coyote awareness" program for residents of the area.
7. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.
8. The Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the attack somehow and for letting the Governor attempt to intervene.
9. Additional cost to State of California: $75,000 to hire and train a new security agent with additional special training re: the nature of coyotes.
10. PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files suit against the State.
Arizona:
The Governor of Arizona is jogging with her dog along a nature trail. A Coyote jumps out and attacks her dog.
1. The Governor shoots the coyote with her State-issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.
2. The Buzzards eat the dead coyote.
And that, boys and girls, is why California is broke . . . and more importantly, why too much government does not work!

P Morgan Chase has strictly ordered all of its banks to take down any and all Christmas decorations that have not been supplied by company headquarters.
Christmas Greetings
To All My Democratic/Liberal Friends:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wish.
To My Republican/Conservative Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2011.

START treaty bad for USA
• It forces the U.S. to reduce its stockpile of nuclear weapons, and makes our existing nuclear arsenal unreliable
• It gravely reduces the ability of the U.S. to defend itself by banning the use of missiles to shoot down incoming missiles [Do you see this. We cannot defend ourselves. This is a key provision insisted upon by Russia. -trj]
• It compromises our sovereignty by creating a Bilateral Consultative Commission ... which could open the U.S. up to more restrictions without Senate approval
• It abandons the "trust but verify" monitoring deal with Russia, undermining our ability to know what kind of missiles they are developing and testing
• It forces the U.S. to eliminate as many as 150 delivery vehicles, even though they may be used for transporting conventional weapons, so it harms other military actions ... and it allows Russia to ADD more than 130!
• It does nothing to address the danger of nuclear terrorism, ignoring the threats we face from Iran and North Korea
Note from The Voice of Russia: Russia and the US signed the new START treaty on April 8 in Prague. The treaty envisages large scale reduction of nuclear missiles and means of their delivery. On the insistence of Russia the new START connects strategic arms with global anti missile systems. 7/10/10
Note from the right jack: If the Democrats in Congress had the interests of the USA as their number one priority, they would have brought this legislation to the floor before the lame duck session.
Posted later: A retired military expert said that Russia gave up what it did not want like old technology. The US gave up what it needs - self defense capability against the likes of Venezuela with its new Iranian missiles.

Happy New Year
In the coming New Year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day. It is an ironic juxtaposition of events: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog.

No Christmas in DC
No nativity this Christmas in D.C.
There will be no Nativity Scene in Washington this year!
The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in the United States Capital this Christmas season.
This isn't for any religious reason.
They simply have not been able to find Three Wise Men in the Nation's Capital.
The search for a Virgin continues.
There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.

Humor: Plan ahead
Interview With An 80-year-old Woman
The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married, for the fourth time.
The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation.
"He's a funeral director," she answered.
"Interesting," the newsman thought. He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.
She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she'd first married a banker when she was in her early 20s, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40s, later on a preacher when in her 60s, and now in her 80s, a funeral director.
The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked: Why she had married four men with such diverse careers.
She smiled and explained:
"I married one for the money,
two for the show,
three to get ready,
and four to go."

There Is No Global Warming
The Proof That There Is No Global Warming
By: Dennis Marcellino
Source: Unknown
My overall gut reaction when I first started hearing about the global warming problem was that it is “penny wise and pound foolish” (if there even is a penny). That is, the effects of it (if it is even true as a phenomenon) are so far in the future, while very bad things are going on in the present (like abortion, the breakup of the family, addictions, unpunished crime, rampant depression, homelessness, etc.).
So then why aren’t we just concentrating on those things? The reason is: they are issues behind the smoke screen that liberals don’t want people to look behind. Magicians know this trick well. That is, you get people to focus on one thing, and then you do your trick where they aren’t looking.
Since first hearing about it though, I did a study on this problem, and it turned out to be another liberal alarmist smoke screen. Here are some of the facts I found out.
(1) Like I said earlier, it would be good if a climate investigation over centuries would be known. Well, Science magazine gave the results of such a study that covered the last 3000 years. It showed that we now are under the mean temperature of the last 3000 years. It also showed that the widely fluctuating mean temperature (based on isotope ratios in the skeletons of marine organisms deposited in the Sargasso Sea) hit peaks five degrees higher than now around 900 B.C. and 400 B.C. and 3 degrees higher than around 100 A.D. There were also lows 2 degrees cooler than now around 100 A.D. and 1700 A.D. Since this last one, the temperature has been steadily rising (a scorching :) 2 degrees in the last 300 years). An outcome of these calculations is that:
(2) human activity could not have been the cause of it (as global warming alarmists claim).
(3) "Slightly rising temperatures" can actually be a good thing when you consider that they cause greater food and animal growth for the starving people of third world countries. (You’d think that liberals would be happy about that?)
(4) Global warming and cooling fluctuations are tied to solar activity. (Another proof that human activity is not the cause).
(5) More than 17,000 American scientists have signed a petition opposing the Kyoto treaty.
(6) Proponents of global warming predicted 20 years ago that in the following 20 years from then there would be a warming increase of between 1 and 2 degrees. There’s been none.
(7) The fear that global warming would cause floods is not justified because at a warming spike in 1000 A.D. there was no major flooding. Much of the above was reported in The Wall Street Journal, Global Warming Is 300-Year-Old News, January 18, 2000, by Arthur Robinson and Noah Robinson, chemists at the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, with updates from them in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons (2007) 12. 79-90.
But I think that some even newer data puts this issue to rest. The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has reported that almost all the allegedly “lost” ice has come back. An NOAA report shows that ice levels which had shrunk from 5 million square miles in January 2007 to just 1.5 million square miles in October, are almost back to their original levels.
And a Feb, 18 report in the London Daily Express showed that there is nearly a third more ice in Antarctica than usual.
Also, the photo of the polar bears clinging on to a melting iceberg, that was meant to tug at our hearts and which was offered as proof of the need to fight climate change and has been used by former Vice President Al Gore during his "Inconvenient Truth" lectures about mankind’s alleged impact on the global climate, was taken in August when melting is normal.
And actually the polar bear population has soared in recent years.
And the winter of 2007-2008 was one of the worst on record in many parts of the Earth, including in China, which saw its worst winter in 50 years and where many died as a result.
This has been an excerpt from The Plague Of Liberalism, which has more anti-global warming data, as well as many other proofs that the liberal positions promote dysfunction and not health.

Humor: You Might Be Taliban if …
1. You refine heroin for a living, but you have a moral objection to beer.
2. You own a $3,000 machine gun and $5,000 rocket launcher, but you can't afford shoes.
3. You have more wives than teeth.
4. You wipe your rear end with your bare hand, but consider bacon "unclean.”
5. You think vests come in two styles: bullet-proof and suicide.
6. You cannot think of anyone you have not declared Jihad against.
7. You consider television dangerous, but routinely carry explosives in your clothing.
8. You were amazed to discover that cell phones have uses other than setting off roadside bombs.
9. You have nothing against women and think every man should own at least one.
10. There are no longer any young children in your family who can walk yet to recruit as suicide bombers.
11. You believe in the goodness of your god but will gladly kill your wife and daughters if they want to go to school.
12. You abstain from alcohol at home but down it like a drunken sailor when out of the country.

Unemployment statistics
25 unemployment statistics that are almost too depressing to read.
#1 According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. unemployment rate for November was 9.8 percent. This was up from 9.6 percent in October, and it continues a trend of depressingly high unemployment rates. The official unemployment number has been at 9.5 percent or higher for well over a year at this point.
#2 In November 2006, the “official” U.S. unemployment rate was just 4.5 percent.
#3 Most economists had been expecting the U.S. economy to add about 150,000 jobs in November. Instead, it only added 39,000.
#4 In the United States today, there are over 15 million people who are “officially” considered to be unemployed for statistical purposes. But everyone knows that the “real” number is even much larger than that.
#5 As 2007 began, there were just over 1 million Americans that had been unemployed for half a year or longer. Today, there are over 6 million Americans that have been unemployed for half a year or longer. [Democrats won total control of US Congress starting in 2007 -trj]
#6 The number of “persons not in the labor force” in the United States recently set another new all-time record.
#7 It now takes the average unemployed American over 33 weeks to find a job.
#8 When you throw in “discouraged workers” and “underemployed workers”, the “real” unemployment rate in the state of California is actually about 22 percent.
#9 In America today there are not nearly enough jobs for everyone. In fact, there are now approximately 5 unemployed Americans for every single job opening.
#10 According to The New York Times, Americans that have been unemployed for five weeks or less are three times more likely to find a new job in the coming month than Americans that have been unemployed for over a year.
#11 The U.S. economy would need to create 235,120 new jobs a month to get the unemployment rate down to pre-recession levels by 2016. Does anyone think that there is even a prayer that is going to happen?
#12 There are 9 million Americans that are working part-time for “economic reasons”. In other words, those Americans would gladly take full-time jobs if they could get them, but all they have been able to find is part-time work.
#13 In 2009, total wages, median wages, and average wages all declined in the United States .
#14 As of the end of 2009, less than 12 million Americans worked in manufacturing. The last time that less than 12 million Americans were employed in manufacturing was in 1941.
#15 The United States has lost at least 7.5 million jobs since the recession began.
#16 Today, only about 40 percent of Ford Motor Company’s 178,000 workers are employed in North America, and a big percentage of those jobs are in Canada and Mexico .
#17 In 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of U.S. economic output. In 2008, it represented 11.5 percent.
#18 Earlier this year, one poll found that 28% of all American households had at least one member that was looking for a full-time job.
#19 In the United States today, over 18,000 parking lot attendants have college degrees.
#20 The United States has lost a staggering 32 percent of its manufacturing jobs since the year 2000.
#21 As the employment situation continues to stagnate, millions of American families have decided to cut back on things such as insurance coverage. For example, the percentage of American households that have life insurance coverage is at its lowest level in 50 years.
#22 Unless Congress acts, and there is no indication that is going to happen, approximately 2 million Americans will stop receiving unemployment checks over the next couple of months.
#23 A poll that was released by the Pew Research Center back in June discovered that an astounding 55 percent of the U.S. labor force has experienced either unemployment, a pay decrease, a reduction in hours or an involuntary move to part-time work since the economic downturn began.
#24 According to Richard McCormack, the United States has lost over 42,000 factories (and counting) since 2001.
#25 In the United States today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees.

Humor: What a real woman does
A real woman is a man's best friend. She will never stand him up and never let him down. She will reassure him when he feels insecure and comfort him after a bad day.
She will inspire him to do things he never thought he could do; to live without fear and forget regret. She will enable him to express his deepest emotions and give in to his most intimate desires.
She will make sure he always feels as though he's the most handsome man in the room and will enable him to be the most confident, sexy, seductive, and invincible.
No wait ... Sorry ... I'm thinking of beer.
That's what beer does ... Never mind.

Why Another Housing Bubble
How the Government Is Creating another Housing Bubble
It looks like the [Democrats in] government will soon use the taxpayers' checkbook again to create a vast market for mortgages with low or no down payments and for overstretched borrowers with blemished credit, say Peter J. Wallison, a senior fellow, and Edward J. Pinto, a resident fellow, at the American Enterprise Institute.
The Dodd-Frank Act, which imposed far-reaching new regulation on the financial system after the meltdown, allows the administration to substitute the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) for Fannie and Freddie as the principal and essentially unlimited buyer of low-quality home mortgages.
* Along with two other federal agencies, FHA now accounts for about 60 percent of all U.S. home purchase mortgage originations.
* This amounts to more than $1 trillion and is rising rapidly.
* The administration justifies this policy by saying it is necessary to support the mortgage market, yet borrowers are once again receiving high-risk loans.
The goal of Congress and regulators should be to foster the residential mortgage market's return to the standards that used to prevail in 1990, before the affordable housing requirements were imposed on Fannie and Freddie.
* At that time, mortgages required 10 percent to 20 percent down payments, and were only made to borrowers with good credit and relatively low debt-to-income ratios.
* When loans of this kind were the standard in the residential mortgage market, we did not have financial crises brought on by the collapse of a housing bubble.
The Dodd-Frank Act, however, exempts the FHA and other government agencies from appropriate standards on mortgage quality.
* For example, thanks to expanded government lending, 60 percent of home purchase loans now have down payments of less than 5 percent, compared to 40 percent at the height of the bubble, and the FHA projects that it will increase its insured loan total to $1.34 trillion by 2013.
* Indeed, the FHA just announced its intention to push almost half of its home purchase volume into subprime territory by 2014-2017, essentially a guarantee to put taxpayers at risk again.

Humor: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
The seven dwarfs always left to go to work in the mine early each morning.
As always, Snow White stayed home doing her domestic chores.
As lunchtime approached, she would prepare their lunch and carry it to the mine.
One day as she arrived at the mine with the lunch, she saw that there had been a terrible cave-in.
Tearfully, and fearing the worst, Snow White began calling out, hoping against hope that the dwarfs had somehow survived.
"Hello ... Hello!" she shouted, "Can anyone hear me? Hello!"
For a long while, there was no answer. Losing hope, Snow White again shouted, "Hello! Is anyone down there?"
Just as she was about to give up all hope, she heard a faint voice from deep within the mine, singing;
"Re-elect Barrack Obama, vote for Barrack Obama. ..."
Snow White fell to her knees and prayed,
"Oh, thank you, God! At least Dopey is still alive."
