In the new health care bill - Did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax?
The bulk of these new taxes do not kick in until 2013. You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one.
If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 sales tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.
If you are a home buyer or a Realtor, Obama and the Democrats just handed you another obstacle that adds more restraints to your sales effort.
Note from the right jack: Do I remember correctly that candidate Obama said that there would be no increased taxes on those making under $250,000 annually. In fact, Obama and the Democrats are raising taxes on everyone regardless of income. You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until the Democrats pass the Cap and Trade tax on energy, which by the way, was based on false data.
