Dilemma for the right jack. Political news on the right and left has been keeping my daily capsule reports flowing like the billions of dollars in Big Dem Government spending. Starting today, the 16th, I am separating the Really? Monthly News Capsules into two sections – 1st thought the 15th and then the 16th through the end of the month.
How do you know Democrats are guilty? When Democrats start taking heat for their shady activities, Democrats are "knee-jerk" quick to draw Republicans into the criticisms and shift the blame to both parties. =trj

Democrat Strategy? Overwhelm the US economy in every way imaginable with centralization, bailouts, loans, credits, rules, regulations, taxes, etc. Increase government jobs. Penalize employers. Destroy private sector jobs. Create unemployment. Create government dependence. Blame Republicans. After two years, begin talking about creating jobs to usher in approaching November 2012 re-election season.
2011 is an unusual year. We will experience 4 uncommon dates, 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, and 11/11/11. Now go figure this out. Take the last 2 digits of the year you were born, plus the age you will be this year and it will equal 111.

Egypt. The Undocumented One [TUO] scolded Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak saying that he must respond to the wishes of his people and stop the dictatorial powers of his special police force, among other things. Yet, TUO completely ignores these admonitions when it comes to what he is doing to US voters as he bypasses Congress with HealthCare, waivers, his Czars, special buy-outs and selective enforcement of the laws by his Department of Justice. 1/28/11 =trj
Muslim Brotherhood appears to be in the center of the revolt to take over Egypt. Iraq seems to be within their grasp as well when US forces abandon the Afghan and Iraqi people.

That comes as no surprise to those who voted against him and Democrats in 2008 and 2010 elections. The short article above did not mention that Democrat policy directives, starting with Carter and then Clinton, forced lenders, under penalty of government sanctions, to make no-money-down loans to millions of people who could not and then did not make their home mortgage payments. In 1959, the Senate made it ILLEGAL for any future Senate, at the beginning of a new Congress, to force a rules change unless approved by 2/3 of all duly sworn senators. This was specifically enacted to preserve the checks and balances on political power mongers, and prevent a narrow majority from subverting the will of the people while establishing itself as a dictatorial ruling party. Card Check legislation hinders American employers. H.R. 800, the "Employee Free Choice Act," would replace secret ballot elections at workplaces. Unions can do away with secret ballots … a fundamental right in a democracy. Big Labor can unionize companies simply by persuading, cajoling or coercing a majority of workers into signing a card. Curly CFL bulbs
Check out “curly” CFL bulbs before you buy.
Attached is a picture of a CFL light bulb from my bathroom. I turned it on the other day and then smelled smoke after a few minutes. Four inch flames were spewing out of the side of the ballast like a blow torch! I immediately turned off the lights. But I'm sure it would have caused a fire if I was not right there. Imagine if the kids had left the lights on as usual when they were not in the room.
I took the bulb to the Fire Department to report the incident. The Fireman wasn't at all surprised and said that it was not an uncommon occurrence. Apparently, sometimes when the bulb burns out there is a chance that the ballast can start a fire. He told me that the Fire Marshall had issued reports about the dangers of these bulbs.
Upon doing some Internet research, it seems that bulbs made by “Globe” in China seem to have the lion’s share of problems. Lots of fires have been blamed on misuse of CFL bulbs, like using them in recessed lighting, pot lights, dimmers or in track lighting. Mine was installed in a normal light socket.
I bought these at Wal-Mart. I will be removing all the Globe bulbs from my house. CFL bulbs are a great energy saver but make sure you buy a name brand like Sylvania, Phillips or GE and not the ones from China.
Note from trj: This story was emailed to "trj" and the original source is undocumented, exactly like our president. My experience with CFLs is that they seem to "burn out" sooner than advertised. Those I have purchased came from big box home building suppliers. But remember, GE is a huge benefactor of current Democrat policies.

7 Non-Political Differences Between Liberals and Conservatives

People who don't follow politics tend to believe that conservatives and liberals are just flip sides of the same coin. In other words, conservatives are pro-life, pro-gun, and fiscally conservative while liberals are pro-choice, anti-gun, and want to tax and spend, but otherwise, there are no real differences.
However, if you follow politics closely, you'll find that there's a gulf as wide as the ocean between the average politically active conservative and the average politically active liberal. We don't just have political differences; we view the world through very different eyes.
Of course, I don't want to oversell this because as Americans, conservatives and liberals are more alike than different. There also tend to be differences between people who are heavily politically involved and those who aren't. This column focuses on those of us who are more politically active, as opposed to people who don’t pay much attention to politics.
I'd also add that in every category, you'll find exceptions that prove the rule. Moreover, sometimes you'll find both conservatives and liberals engaging in the same behavior, although one side tends to do it much more than the other. All that being said, after spending a decade blogging, here are just a few of the genuine differences that have become apparent over the years.
1) Conservatives are more patriotic than liberals: Conservatives tend to focus on the positive things about America, while liberals focus on the negative. If the first thoughts that came to your mind when you thought of America were “slavery,” "imperialism," and "unfairly using too much of the world's resources," you probably wouldn't like America very much either. Conservatives, on the other hand, look at the fact that we saved the world in WWI, WWII, and the Cold War, take pride in the fact that we have contributed so much to the planet, and believe America has had a tremendous positive impact on history. The conservative view produces love of country. The other view produces a deep seated dislike of our nation.
2) It's socially acceptable for liberals to lie about conservatives: Whether you're talking about theNew York Times, The Washington Post, or the Daily Kos, it's considered to be perfectly acceptable to lie about conservatives. That's because, as Charles Krauthammer once said, To understand the workings of American politics, you have to understand this fundamental law: Conservatives think liberals are stupid.
Liberals think conservatives are evil. If you think your opponents are evil, you tend to be okay with using tactics that you would describe as "evil" under other circumstances to fight them. If you're up people you compare to Nazis, it’s easy to tell yourself that lying to beat them isn’t so bad. If you're in a dispute with people who you believe are just too stupid to understand what's going on, you feel compelled to try to explain yourself a little better.
3) Conservatives are results-oriented. Liberals are not: If you understand one thing about liberals, understand this: Liberalism is nothing more than "childlike emotionalism applied to adult issues." That's why they don't care very much about whether the programs they advocate work or not. Proposing programs isn't really about what will help the most people to liberals; it's about making them feel good about themselves. On the other hand, conservatives are results-oriented, which is why they tend to be so down on the government, which is inevitably slower, more expensive, and less effective than the private sector at pretty much everything.
4) Conservatives care about the Constitution. Liberals don't: Conservatives believe that we need to try to interpret the Constitution in the way that the Founders intended it to be read and if we want to change it, then we need to pass a Constitutional Amendment. Liberals believe in a "living Constitution," which is functionally no different than believing in no Constitution at all. If you believe in a "living Constitution," you think it is okay to do whatever you want for political reasons and then come up with a legal justification afterwards, which you'll then call "constitutional law."
5) Liberals are much more misogynistic than conservatives: If you're a prominent conservative woman, you will be deluged with rape threats, death threats, attacks on your family, attacks on your looks, and offers to give you a good screwing as a public service. In other words, what you've seen with Sarah Palin is actually the same thing that happens to most prominent conservative women, but on a larger scale. That's not to say that liberal women don't get some of the same treatment, but it's several orders of magnitude worse for women on the Right.
That's largely because liberals claim the "feminist" mantle and so, if they're feminists, then obviously they can't be "anti-woman" no matter what they actually say, right? Even worse, most of the actual feminist women on the Left tend to either participate in the abuse or, alternately, turn a blind eye to it as long as it's aimed at conservative women.
6) Conservatives are happier people than liberals: Despite all the claims you hear that conservatives are angry, cruel, and mean, conservatives are much happier people than liberals. This is something that has been consistently proven in studies and, let's face it -- anyone who knows a lot of liberals and conservatives will tell you that it's not a surprise. Conservatives love the country they live in, they're more likely to be Christian, and they take responsibility for their own lives instead of griping that the world is terribly unfair. If you want to be a happy person, you're more likely to be a happy conservative than a happy liberal.
7) Conservatives are better Christians than liberals: Certainly there are debates about social conservatism and Christianity on the conservative side of the fence, but Christian conservatism is considered to be a honorable and important part of the Republican base. People are going to hate to hear this, despite the fact it's absolutely true, but Christianity and liberalism have become largely incompatible. That's because there are so many liberals who are implacably hostile to Christianity that liberal Christians are left with one of two unpalatable choices. Either they can water their Christian beliefs down into thin gruel so as to be compatible with liberalism or liberal Christians can choose to be cringing dogs and keep their mouths shut while their beliefs are regularly insulted, demeaned, and attacked by their fellow liberals. Neither option should be acceptable to someone who has a strong Christian faith.

If you believe in a "living Constitution," you think it is okay to do whatever you want for political reasons and then come up with a legal justification afterwards, which you'll then call "constitutional law."
5) Liberals are much more misogynistic than conservatives: If you're a prominent conservative woman, you will be deluged with rape threats, death threats, attacks on your family, attacks on your looks, and offers to give you a good screwing as a public service. In other words, what you've seen with Sarah Palin is actually the same thing that happens to most prominent conservative women, but on a larger scale. That's not to say that liberal women don't get some of the same treatment, but it's several orders of magnitude worse for women on the Right.
That's largely because liberals claim the "feminist" mantle and so, if they're feminists, then obviously they can't be "anti-woman" no matter what they actually say, right? Even worse, most of the actual feminist women on the Left tend to either participate in the abuse or, alternately, turn a blind eye to it as long as it's aimed at conservative women.
6) Conservatives are happier people than liberals: Despite all the claims you hear that conservatives are angry, cruel, and mean, conservatives are much happier people than liberals. This is something that has been consistently proven in studies and, let's face it -- anyone who knows a lot of liberals and conservatives will tell you that it's not a surprise. Conservatives love the country they live in, they're more likely to be Christian, and they take responsibility for their own lives instead of griping that the world is terribly unfair. If you want to be a happy person, you're more likely to be a happy conservative than a happy liberal.
7) Conservatives are better Christians than liberals: Certainly there are debates about social conservatism and Christianity on the conservative side of the fence, but Christian conservatism is considered to be a honorable and important part of the Republican base. People are going to hate to hear this, despite the fact it's absolutely true, but Christianity and liberalism have become largely incompatible. That's because there are so many liberals who are implacably hostile to Christianity that liberal Christians are left with one of two unpalatable choices. Either they can water their Christian beliefs down into thin gruel so as to be compatible with liberalism or liberal Christians can choose to be cringing dogs and keep their mouths shut while their beliefs are regularly insulted, demeaned, and attacked by their fellow liberals. Neither option should be acceptable to someone who has a strong Christian faith.

So why are so many Americans so frustrated and so angry right now? Well, for most Americans it comes down to the economy. Very few things are more frustrating than not being able to find a job that will enable you to pay the mortgage and feed your family. Middle class Americans that do have a little bit of money are digging into their savings and investments at a staggering rate as they desperately try to keep their heads above water. Millions of other families that do not have a "safety cushion" are on the verge of losing their homes or have already been callously tossed out onto the streets by big, greedy banks. Meanwhile, our politicians continue to burden us with increasingly larger amounts of government debt and they stand idly by as our jobs and our industries are shipped overseas. So even though the mainstream media seems absolutely puzzled by the growing anger in America, the truth is that it is not a great mystery. The economy is an absolute nightmare, and if it gets even worse people are going to become even more angry.
The mainstream media and our top politicians are running around proclaiming that the economy has turned around, and yet all of the important long-term economic numbers continue to get worse. Do they think that the American people are stupid?
Perhaps they are just trying to be "optimistic" and are trying to get us all to "believe" in the economic recovery.
Well, while it certainly does not hurt to "stay positive" and to "have faith" when there is some basis in reality for doing so, but what the mainstream media is asking us all to do is to stick our heads in the sand and to pretend that all of our horrific economic problems are not even there.
Until we recognize exactly what our problems are and how bad they have gotten we will never be able to come up with the appropriate solutions.
Our economy does not just need a "tweak" or two. Our economy is a total nightmare at this point.
The following are 20 things about our nightmare of an economy that you will not want to read if you do not want to become very, very angry....
#1 Today, millions of American families are digging deep into their savings and investments in a desperate attempt to stay afloat. Over the past two years, U.S. consumers have withdrawn $311 billion more from savings and investment accounts than they have put into them.
#2 15 billion dollars: the total amount of compensation that Goldman Sachs paid out to its employees for 2010.
#3 The number of American families that were booted out of their homes and into the streets set a new all-time record in 2010.
#4 Dozens of packages that we buy in the supermarket have been reduced in size by up to 20%. For example, there are now 2 less slices of cheese in a typical package of Kraft American cheese, and there is now 9 percent less toilet paper in a typical package of Scott toilet paper. So now, you may think that you are paying the same amount for these items that you always have, but the truth is that you have been hit with a large price increase.
#5 One Canadian company is making a ton of money shipping "millions and millions of dollars" worth of manufacturing equipment from factories that are being shut down in the United States over to new factories that are being set up in China.
#6 In America today, the wealthiest 20% own a whopping 93% of all the "financial assets" in the United States.
#7 Only 35 percent of Americans now have enough "emergency savings" to be able to cover three months of living expenses.
#8 47 percent of all Americans now believe that China is the number one economic power in the world.
#9 If the U.S. banking system is healthy, then why does the number of "problem banks" continue to keep increasing? This past week the number of U.S. banks on the unofficial list of problem banks reached 937.

#11 U.S. housing prices have now fallen further during this economic downturn than they did during the Great Depression of the 1930s.

From the Sand Pit it's freezing here. I'm sitting on hard, cold dirt between rocks and shrubs at the base of the Hindu Kush Mountains, along the Dar 'yoi Pomir River, watching a hole that leads to a tunnel that leads to a cave. Stake out, my friend, and no pizza delivery for thousands of miles.
I also glance at the area around my ass every ten to fifteen seconds to avoid another scorpion sting. I've actually given up battling the chiggers and sand fleas, but the scorpions give a jolt like a cattle prod. Hurts like a bastard. The antidote tastes like transmission fluid, but God bless the Marine Corps for the five vials of it in my pack.
The one truth the Taliban cannot escape is that, believe it or not, they are human beings, which means they have to eat food and drink water. That requires couriers and that's where an old bounty hunter like me comes in handy. I track the couriers, locate the tunnel entrances and storage facilities, type the info into the handheld, shoot the coordinates up to the satellite link that tells the air commanders where to drop the hardware. We bash some heads for a while, then I track and record the new movement.
It's all about intelligence. We haven't even brought in the snipers yet. These scurrying rats have no idea what they're in for. We are but days away from cutting off supply lines and allowing the eradication to begin.
I dream of bin Laden waking up to find me standing over him with my boot on his throat as I spit into his face and plunge my nickel-plated Bowie knife through his frontal lobe. But you know me, I'm a romantic. I've said it before and I'll say it again: This country blows, man. It's not even a country. There are no roads, there's no infrastructure, there's no government. This is an inhospitable, rock pit shit hole ruled by eleventh century warring tribes. There are no jobs here like we know jobs.
Afghanistan offers two ways for a man to support his family: join the opium trade or join the army. That's it. Those are your options. Oh, I forgot, you can also live in a refugee camp and eat plum-sweetened, crushed beetle paste and squirt mud like a goose with stomach flu, if that's your idea of a party. But the smell alone of those 'tent cities of the walking dead' is enough to hurl you into the poppy fields to cheerfully scrape bulbs for eighteen hours a day.
I've been living with these Tajiks and Uzbeks, and Turkmen and even a couple of Pushtuns, for over a month-and-a-half now, and this much I can say for sure: These guys, all of 'em, are Huns ... Actual, living Huns. They LIVE to fight. It's what they do. It's ALL they do.. They have no respect for anything, not for their families, nor for each other, nor for themselves. They claw at one another as a way of life. They play polo with dead calves and force their five-year-old sons into human cockfights to defend the family honor. Huns, roaming packs of savage, heartless beasts who feed on each other's barbarism. Cavemen with AK-47's. Then again, maybe I'm just cranky.
I'm freezing my ass off on this stupid hill because my lap warmer is running of of juice, and I can't recharge it until the sun comes up in a few hours. Oh yeah! You like to write letters, right? Do me a favor, Bizarre. Write a letter to CNN and tell Wolf and Anderson and that awful, sneering, pompous Aaron Brown to stop calling the Taliban 'smart.' They are not smart. I suggest CNN invest in a dictionary because the word they are looking for is 'cunning.' The Taliban are cunning, like jackals and hyenas and wolverines. They are sneaky and ruthless, and when confronted, cowardly. They are hateful, malevolent parasites who create nothing and destroy everything else. Smart. Pfft. Yeah, they're real smart.
They've spent their entire lives reading only one book (and not a very good one, as books go) and consider hygiene and indoor plumbing to be products of the devil. They're still figuring out how to work a Bic lighter. Talking to a Taliban warrior about improving his quality of life is like trying to teach an ape how to hold a pen; eventually he just gets frustrated and sticks you in the eye with it.
OK, enough. Snuffle will be up soon, so I have to get back to my hole. Covering my tracks in the snow takes a lot of practice, but I'm good at it.
Please, I tell you and my fellow Americans to turn off the TV sets and move on with your lives. The story line you are getting from CNN and other news agencies is utter bullshit and designed not to deliver truth but rather to keep you glued to the screen through the commercials. We've got this one under control. The worst thing you guys can do right now is sit around analyzing what we're doing over here, because you have no idea what we're doing, and really, you don't want to know. We are your military, and we are doing what you sent us here to do.

DRILL PRESS: A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted project which you had carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it.
WIRE WHEEL: Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light. Also removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers in about the time it takes you to say, 'Oh sh--!'
SKILL SAW: A portable cutting tool used to make studs too short.
PLIERS: Used to round off bolt heads. Sometimes used in the creation of blood-blisters.
BELT SANDER: An electric sanding tool commonly used to convert minor touch-up jobs into major refinishing jobs.
HACKSAW: One of a family of cutting tools built on the Ouija board principle. It transforms human energy into a crooked, unpredictable motion, and the more you attempt to influence its course, the more dismal your future becomes.
VISE-GRIPS: Generally used after pliers to completely round off bolt heads. If nothing else is available, they can also be used to transfer intense welding heat to the palm of your hand.

UTILITY KNIFE: Used to open and slice through the contents of cardboard cartons delivered to your front door; works particularly well on contents such as seats, vinyl records, liquids in plastic bottles, collector magazines, refund checks, and rubber or plastic parts. Especially useful for slicing work clothes, but only while in use.
SON-OF-A-BITCH TOOL: A personal favorite! Any handy tool that you grab and throw across the garage while yelling 'Son of a BITCH!' at the top of your lungs. It is also, most often, the next tool that you will need.

Progressive is the company with the clever television ads featuring the perky brunette actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of the Board for Progressive Ins. is Peter Lewis, one of the largest benefactors of the left in America.
Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of America's Judeo-Christian heritage. Indeed, Lewis is himself a ACLU member. One of the ACLU projects he earmarked his funds for was an effort to sue school districts who have drug testing policies. In other words, he wants teachers to be able to use drugs without fear of exposure. I wonder if he wouldn't object to his employees coming to work every day after using drugs.
Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and American Coming Together, two key components of the socialist left. The former group is perhaps the main group used by the Obama forces to organize their activists; the latter group is a political action group that essentially served as a front for the SEIU union thugs who ran ACORN. His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the international socialist who finances much of the Obama political network.
It is disturbing that Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the free enterprise system. He reminds me somewhat of Armand Hammer, the former head of Occidental Petroleum who did business with Joseph Stalin and became his good friend, around the same time Stalin was executing businessmen all over the USSR.
What angers me further is the way this company is targeting television shows, watched by conservatives, such as Fox News. Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans so that he can destroy our country. He's banking on no one finding out who he is.
• Arrested in New Zealand with marijuana and hashish.

Big US Gov Helps Unions Get Forced Dues

“ObamaCare is a threat to your health, your freedom -- and your pocketbook.”
There is a growing chorus of politicians, academics, and news types who are saying this.
I’ll let them continue to study the law.
One thing is certain, though: The new law is loaded with forced unionism provisions buried deep in its 2,500 pages. Nancy Pelosi famously said, “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it.”
Well, Foundation attorneys have studied the law, and they tell me it is filled with obscure and overt provisions that will hand union officials billions of new forced-dues dollars.

You see, even if the new Congress tries to repeal some of the forced unionism provisions in ObamaCare, the union bosses will fight back every step of the way. And President Obama always sides with Big Labor.
Foundation attorneys must be prepared to aggressively fight the union bosses in the courts to stop workers nationwide from being forced under union boss control as a result of this new law.
Here’s just one example of the dangers uncovered by Foundation attorneys:
• The union bosses will fight to keep provisions like Title VIII that creates the “Community Living Assistance Services and Supports” (CLASS) program. Under this program, ALL 50 states are ordered to create legal entities to serve as “employers” of home health care providers.

Foundation attorneys filed class action lawsuits in federal court in Michigan and Illinois to blow apart this forced-dues bonanza, and we can build on this crucial legal experience to attack the forced unionism provisions in ObamaCare as well.
Millions of dollars in compulsory dues are at stake in Michigan alone, but there’s an even greater danger looming.
You see, Big Labor’s scheme will also corrupt the political process by enabling Big Labor’s political puppets to handpick unions as the sole representatives for thousands of workers -- and even for independent contractors.
This scheme marks a new low and is a gross violation of workers’ rights under the Constitution. Our attorneys believe this issue is so important that it could ultimately be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Now, let me explain how this politically inspired scheme to increase forced unionism power happened in Michigan.
Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm is a politician who looks for ways to expand Big Labor’s government-granted special privileges. That’s why she ordered Michigan’s Department of Human Services to enter into an agreement creating a new public body called the “Michigan Home Based Child Care Council.”
The Council that Granholm created was given a vague mandate to improve home child care through public advocacy, but its real purpose is to be the phony bargaining partner with a new union created to represent home child care providers.
The whole arrangement is a sham!
As Governor Granholm created the phony Council, union bosses of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the United Auto Workers (UAW) got together and created a new union to “bargain” with the phony Council.
They called the new union “Child Care Providers Together Michigan.” However, it really doesn’t have anything to bargain about with the phony Council, since the Council doesn’t set any terms and conditions of employment for home child care providers.
In fact, the State of Michigan itself is not the employer for the child care providers. The state just provides a taxpayer subsidy for eligible children that goes to the estimated 40,000 workers, many of whom are small businesses or independent contractors working in their own homes.
The phony “Michigan Home Based Child Care Council” recognized the phony “Child Care Providers Together Michigan” union as the monopoly bargaining agent (“exclusive representative”) of all home child care providers in the state. This union recognition followed a mail-ballot election in which roughly 5,000 workers subjected 40,532 providers to the forced-dues scheme.
Foundation staff attorneys are attacking this forced unionism scheme in federal court with a class action lawsuit on behalf of all 40,000 workers.
There are three big reasons why this lawsuit is one of the most important the Foundation is currently prosecuting -- and why I need your support today:
• If a politician can handpick favorite union bosses to be the political representative of 40,000 workers (all forced to pay union dues), then any group that receives any public money can be swept into forced unionism.
• Millions of dollars in forced union dues are at stake –- money that union bosses will use to buy more political influence and gain still more special privileges.

“ObamaCare is a threat to your health, your freedom -- and your pocketbook.”
There is a growing chorus of politicians, academics, and news types who are saying this.
I’ll let them continue to study the law.
One thing is certain, though: The new law is loaded with forced unionism provisions buried deep in its 2,500 pages. Nancy Pelosi famously said, “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it.”
Well, Foundation attorneys have studied the law, and they tell me it is filled with obscure and overt provisions that will hand union officials billions of new forced-dues dollars.
That’s why I am writing to you today.
You see, even if the new Congress tries to repeal some of the forced unionism provisions in ObamaCare, the union bosses will fight back every step of the way. And President Obama always sides with Big Labor.
Foundation attorneys must be prepared to aggressively fight the union bosses in the courts to stop workers nationwide from being forced under union boss control as a result of this new law.
Here’s just one example of the dangers uncovered by Foundation attorneys:
• The union bosses will fight to keep provisions like Title VIII that creates the “Community Living Assistance Services and Supports” (CLASS) program. Under this program, ALL 50 states are ordered to create legal entities to serve as “employers” of home health care providers.
Foundation attorneys know from direct experience that schemes like this are just a trick to force non- union home health care providers into forced unionism.
We know because the Foundation is already fighting these schemes at the state level. Union bosses in Michigan, Illinois, and as many as 15 other states cooked up schemes to seize millions of dollars in forced union dues from home health care providers.
Without lifting a finger.
Foundation attorneys filed class action lawsuits in federal court in Michigan and Illinois to blow apart this forced-dues bonanza, and we can build on this crucial legal experience to attack the forced unionism provisions in ObamaCare as well.
Millions of dollars in compulsory dues are at stake in Michigan alone, but there’s an even greater danger looming.
You see, Big Labor’s scheme will also corrupt the political process by enabling Big Labor’s political puppets to handpick unions as the sole representatives for thousands of workers -- and even for independent contractors.
This scheme marks a new low and is a gross violation of workers’ rights under the Constitution. Our attorneys believe this issue is so important that it could ultimately be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Now, let me explain how this politically inspired scheme to increase forced unionism power happened in Michigan.
Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm is a politician who looks for ways to expand Big Labor’s government-granted special privileges. That’s why she ordered Michigan’s Department of Human Services to enter into an agreement creating a new public body called the “Michigan Home Based Child Care Council.”
The Council that Granholm created was given a vague mandate to improve home child care through public advocacy, but its real purpose is to be the phony bargaining partner with a new union created to represent home child care providers.
The whole arrangement is a sham!
As Governor Granholm created the phony Council, union bosses of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the United Auto Workers (UAW) got together and created a new union to “bargain” with the phony Council.
They called the new union “Child Care Providers Together Michigan.” However, it really doesn’t have anything to bargain about with the phony Council, since the Council doesn’t set any terms and conditions of employment for home child care providers.
In fact, the State of Michigan itself is not the employer for the child care providers. The state just provides a taxpayer subsidy for eligible children that goes to the estimated 40,000 workers, many of whom are small businesses or independent contractors working in their own homes.
The phony “Michigan Home Based Child Care Council” recognized the phony “Child Care Providers Together Michigan” union as the monopoly bargaining agent (“exclusive representative”) of all home child care providers in the state. This union recognition followed a mail-ballot election in which roughly 5,000 workers subjected 40,532 providers to the forced-dues scheme.
Foundation staff attorneys are attacking this forced unionism scheme in federal court with a class action lawsuit on behalf of all 40,000 workers.
There are three big reasons why this lawsuit is one of the most important the Foundation is currently prosecuting -- and why I need your support today:
• If a politician can handpick favorite union bosses to be the political representative of 40,000 workers (all forced to pay union dues), then any group that receives any public money can be swept into forced unionism.
• Millions of dollars in forced union dues are at stake –- money that union bosses will use to buy more political influence and gain still more special privileges.

Tell your Congressional Representatives
What you "could" tell your Congressional Representatives and State Legislators:
Cut government spending across the board by 25% or more.
Reduce government payroll by 50% immediately.
Cut government waste and fraud, now.
Do not spend it if you do not have it.
Give US companies abroad a tax holiday to bring their profits home without the massive tax penalties that now exist.
End ObamaCare immediately.
Open health insurance to across state line sales.
Reform tort law to eliminate ambulance chasers.
Start over on health care.
Stop illegal immigration at the border immediately.
Enforce existing immigration laws, and others.
Eliminate laws related to anchor babies.
Stop all stimulus spending and bank bailouts.
Stop all thoughtless and undercover government spending associated with this.
Display government transparency on all issues not involving national security.
Stop energy taxes based on the climate change hoax.
Open US areas to oil and gas exploration.
Liberate our coal industry for massive government intrusions.
Increase the use of nuclear power.
Wait for technological advances in wind and solar power before outlawing our vast gas coal and oil production.
Promote and support capitalism, the greatest job creating system on Earth, trust and verify.
Promote and support self-reliance rather than government dependence.
Never ever allow the USA to become subject to some international governing body, never.
Enforce existing gun control laws on criminals, not lawful US citizens.
Gun control, following any UN model, should not be a path that freedom loving US Taxpayers need to obey. When government and criminals have all of the guns, our freedom and safety is in jeopardy.
De-politize the US military now.
Adopt The Fair Tax as soon as possible.
Keep greedy US Government hands off of our pensions.
Stop Democrat efforts to criminalize political dissent.
Get out of internet affairs, a freedom of speech issue
Stop attacking talk radio, a freedom of speech issue.
Never ever allow the USA to become subject to the desire some international governing body, never.
And for chuckles, request that RINOs and Democrats resign immediately.
