Federal spending dampens local economy

A Harvard research study reveals that Federal spending back home [i.e., grants, earmarks, etc] by politicians actually depresses the local economy. The line that we have heard for decades is that our House and Senate representatives bring money "back home" and that is good. This study contradicts that line. http://bit.ly/cjPMf3.

We know from experience over the past 12 months or so that Federal spending at the rate at which Obama and the Democrats are shoveling it out of Washington to their supporters is killing the private sector job market.
