Really? February 1-15, 2011

Highlights of the month

Right to work non-union states = Economic Growth.

The less educated you are, the more likely you will vote for a Democrat - - - Neil Boortz

January unemployment up to 9.8%. Total unemployment at 18.9%. 19.9% in 2010. 1 in 10 unemployed. 1 in 5 are underemployed. [Gallup.com] Poor, uneducated, women, African Americans, Hispanics, whites, teens hardest hit.

1/6th of nation is on food stamps.

If guns kill then do spoons make me fat? Do pens and computers make me mispell words?

The Undocumented One = The Alleged Citizen. Proof of US birth still missing.

Bank Profits. Why banks are not lending to potential home buyers. Banks are paid 80% of the value of foreclosures by Big Gov if they properties are NOT sold. This is a much better financial deal for banks than selling these homes to buyers at less than 80% of value. =trj

And now on to our regular posts

18% is average cost of government as percentage of GDP. Currently at 25% as reported by the Talkmaster, Neil Boortz 2/15/11.

International Monetary Fund [IMF] looking to see what currency can be used to replace falling US Dollar. 2/11/10. So are South Carolina and Virginia.

Mubarak resigns. $81 Billion in his stash. Perhaps we can urge him to purchase CA IL MI or NY. Then make him The Czar. 2/11/10

Negotiating with Egypt in the public media seems like a really bad way to resolve anything. Is it too late for TUO to adopt a “behind the scenes” strategy? =trj 2/10/11

Muslim Brotherhood. Founded in 1928. Dedicated to establishing Islamic Sharia Law on Earth. Treachery, terrorism and war are justifiable ways to bring this about. Obama Administration regards them as a combination of Welcome Wagon and Meals on Wheels. Much like Cuba and Iran, they gain influence by talking about Democracy. Then once they gain control, they solidify their radical political agenda with executions, severely limited individual freedoms, and no rights for women. [Ah! A true fantasy world for the strangely silent National Organization for Women - NOW? =trj]

CPAC. Read about this year's Conservative Political Action Conference. 10,000 in attendance. Click Here and Click Here.

CPAC. Public not likely to see coverage of CPAC by the Big Time Dying Media. Just like the ACORN and Planned Parenthood video stings that the same Big Time Dying Democrat Media did not cover. That is why Fox News is growing and growing. =trj

The Undocumented One [TUO] said he never raised taxes when interviewed by Bill O’Reilly before Super Bowl 45. Records show 24 tax hikes during the current Democrat administration since 2009. And that is called what? =trj

American Petroleum Institute: API represents more than 450 oil and natural gas companies, leaders of a technology-driven industry that supplies most of America’s energy, supports more than 9.2 million US jobs, accounts for 7.5% of the US economy and since 2000, has invested nearly $2 trillion in US capital projects to advance all forms of energy, including alternatives, while reducing the industry’s environmental footprint.

Related: Imagine what the US energy industry could provide in US jobs alone if they were permitted to operate without the boot of Big Dem Gov on their collective throat. Big Dem Gov helps foreign oil producers but not our own US energy sector. =trj

Abortions. Did you know that 1/3 of Planned Parenthood's billion-dollar budget comes from the U.S. Treasury? 53 million lives aborted since 1973. [MichelePAC 2/8/11] Make that US Taxpayer funded abortions.

Internet “kill switch” works. Done successfully by Russia, Australia and Egypt. Democrats in USA know how it works … in case of national emergency, of course.

Foreign aid. IF US does not provide it, our “friendly” nations will get aid from our silent enemies. Then what happens? =trj

And Sebelius’ supporters are trying to keep the implementation of Obama “Death Panels” a secret! Rep Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), recently sent supporters of the new rule an e-mail warning them "not to broadcast this accomplishment out to any of your lists, even if they are 'supporters' - - e-mails can too easily be forwarded."

We have an excellent chance to defeat twelve Democratic incumbents (and to pick up the vacant seat of North Dakota's Kent Conrad). They are: Ben Nelson (D-Neb), Bill Nelson (D-FL), Jim Webb (D-Va), Jon Tester (D-Mont), Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich), Claire McCaskill (D-Mo), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Bob Casey (D-Pa), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), Bob Menendez (D-NJ), and Herbert Kohl (D-Wisc). But we can only do so with candidates who are a notch above the ones who lost their challenges in 2010. [Dick Morris 2/8/11]

Message to my Congressman: Stop Democrats in their tracks, please. Please do not fall for any Democrat plans to give in on a few little things in order to raise the debt ceiling, fund total health care, ban guns, kill the internet, throttle business while killing jobs, pump more money into government projects [= Gov jobs], stop illegal immigration, and print more money that will help bring down the US economy. Please ... trj

"Do you know that 97% of the staff of the Long Island Railroad retire on disability? This includes all the office staff. When they were private trains, of course, that was not the case. Isn't that odd?" - - - Mark Steyn on 2/7/11 subbing for Rush Limbaugh

Chevy Runs Deep . . . Deeper in Debt at US Taxpayers expense.

Alcohol-related driving accidents occur most frequently on St. Patrick's Day. Super Bowl Sunday ranks second according to Insurance Information Institute.

All the subsidies in the world cannot turn a bad business idea into a good one -- "To turn wood chips into ethanol fuel, George W. Bush's Department of Energy in February 2007 announced a $76 million grant to Range Fuels for a cutting-edge refinery. A few months later, the refinery opened in the piney woods of Treutlen County, Ga., as the taxpayers of Georgia piled on another $6 million. In 2008, the ethanol plant was the first beneficiary of the Biorefinery Assistance Program, pocketing a loan for $80 million guaranteed by the U.S. taxpayers," writes the Washington Examiner's Tim Carney. "Last month, the refinery closed down, having failed to squeeze even a drop of ethanol out of its pine chips." [The DC Morning 2/7/11] Click Here to read the story.

Right-to-Work States Outperform Forced-Union States. Click Here.

Right to work non-union states = Economic Growth.

Seniority is the most dominant feature of unions. Not quality. Not production. Just rate management and job protection in business, government and schools. We cannot afford unionism.

Latest economic development objectives of this administration involve sending yet more job money to various government entities like cities, counties, education, etc. Governments do not generate jobs. They suck up US Tax Payer money. Listen and Look for who, not what. =trj

Private schools outperform public [i.e., government] union schools. They produce better students at lower costs without rubber rooms for under-performing so-called teachers.

Earmarks. Gone for the next two years. Thanks to Republicans.

Do not raise the US debt ceiling. Cut spending. Tell your Congressional representatives.

US Big Gov is spending about 30% of our gross domestic product. Should be around 15%. [Neil Boortz 2/4/11]

Hate your boss. Call Big Gov. New gaggle of Obama attorneys are standing by to help you take it them and make them pay. If this is like their previous Big Gov effort, it will take you to lawyer referral services.

Lobbying. Tax policy is the number one area for legislators to be lobbied. Legislators listen. Give specific tax breaks to companies or market segments. Then legislators receive campaign donations. Do you see why legislators do not favor The Fair Tax. [Neil Boortz] Legislators bringing pork back home is a 2nd reason the do not favor The Fair Tax. =trj

Alert: Sign Tea Party Petition To Cut Government Spending - Click Here

The Undocumented One likes to play the Poverty Card. Who is for poverty? Certainly not Republicans. In reality, it is Democrats who keep initiating spending programs that allow people to remain dependent on government. Pass it and they will come. =trj

Governance Poverty. States and nations without responsible governance. When states file for bankruptcy as CA, IL and MI are considering, such states should lose their legislative right to sit-in on Congressional committee deliberations, be on committees, and vote in the House of Representatives and Senate. Irresponsible leadership should not be rewarded with US Taxpayer money earned by responsible US Taxpayers. Same for nations.

Learning Poverty. A self-inflicted failure by the student and the family, [not society] by not attend school daily, not paying attention in class, not being a productive school citizen, not completing homework assignments, not passing on to the next grade, and not earning a diploma with passing grades.

Dear God, All I ask for in 2011 is a big, fat bank account and a slim body. Please don't mix these up like you did last year. Amen.

EPA. Of all the government agencies that have become barriers to job creation and economic growth, the Environmental Protection Agency is the worst offender. Since its founding 40 years ago, the EPA has been transformed from an agency with the original noble mission of protecting the environment into a job-killing, centralizing engine of ideological litigation and regulation that blocks economic progress. [Newt Gingrich 1/27/11]

While GOP "leaders" fuss and tinker around the margins, bolder souls in Republican Study Committee (RSC) have unveiled their Spending Reduction Act that proposes to reduce federal spending by $125 billion in FY 2011-2012, and cut $2.5 trillion over the next 10 years. They include:

• Overall spending CUT to 2008 levels, with discretionary spending CUT to 2006 levels.
• Unspent “stimulus” money RETURNED.
• Civilian government workforce CUT by 15%.
• Government subsidies ELIMINATED to the Public Broadcasting System, the National Endowment for the Arts, Amtrak, the National Organic Certification Cost-Share Program, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, among other agencies and programs.
• Funding for implementation of ObamaCare BLOCKED as well as taxpayer money RESTRICTED from use by government and public services lawyers to defend any ObamaCare provisions in court.

Feds missed illegal now charged with rape. Much-touted federal database failed to detect an illegal immigrant who is now charged with raping an 8-year-old last month in Fairfax County. Cooking the Numbers. US labor force at 26 year low. 2-6 Years! Those who stopped looking removed from unemployment count. This lowers the unemployment rate which makes Big Gov job-killing economic policy look good.

Mexico providing electricity during Texas power shortage. [Rush Limbaugh 2/3/11].

Environmental regulations have stifled construction of new power plants and refineries across USA while Big Gov wastes tax money on highly speculative green energy industry. Pay off years and years in the future. Some green energy programs already shutting down =trj

51-47. Senate votes to keep ObamaCare. No info yet on the 2 missing Democrat votes? 23 of 53 Democrat seats in the Senate are up for election in 2012. That is the point of this process. Show your true colors.

Late Update: Two senators, Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Mark Warner (D-Va), did not vote. 2/3/11

Democrat National Convention goes to Charlotte NC, a weak union Right To Work state. Dis-loyal Democrats avoided union states because of the problems that unions will cause over set up, change and maintenance issues. Economies more favorable in Right To Work states. [Neil Boortz]

US bank failures: 11 in 2011 so far. 157 in 2010. 140 in 2009. Just 25 in 2008. 2/3/11

Bank Profits. Why banks are not lending to potential home buyers. Banks are paid 80% of the value of foreclosures by Big Gov if they properties are NOT sold. This is a much better financial deal for banks than selling these homes to buyers at less than 80% of value. =trj

Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told us how the person died.

The Undocumented One appears willing to allow the Muslim Brotherhood to seize control of power in Egypt. Jimmy Carter allowed a similar thing to happen in Iran. Iran became one of the primary nations to sponsor worldwide terrorism. Claims that Obama rep met with Brotherhood not denied.

Sam Donaldson, former White House reporter and big time Democrat, went on Al Jazerra to tell them how well they do in reporting the news from the Middle East in an unbiased manner and then went on to take shots at the USA. It is most often said that many if not all Al Jazerra reports are [1] anti-American, when relevant and [2] presented with a once-sided point of view.

Waiter. According to tipster, Valerie Jarrett [outed non-spy] and Obama adviser was seated at the Alfalfa Club head table along with several other big-name politicians and a handful of high-ranking military officials. Remember Barbara Boxer [D-CA] admonishing a US general during Senate hearings when he called her "Mame" rather than "Senator." She went on to say how hard she had worked to attain her position while totally what this man had done to become a General in the US Military. Her arrogance toward the US Military was disrespectful and appalling.

NYC mayor trying to rid city budget of non-teaching teachers. Rubber room teachers on probation, etc. most certainly will have full support by their union.

Nullification. A legal theory that says states have the right to nullify, or invalidate, any federal law which that state has deemed unconstitutional. The theory is based on the fact that sovereign states form the Union. As members of the Union, the states have final authority regarding the limits of the power of the central government. There has never been a federal law that is more unconstitutional than ObamaCare. The process of nullification has been used before. Back in 1799, Thomas Jefferson wrote the "Kentucky Resolution," responding to a series of federal laws passed during an undeclared naval war against France. Jefferson said, "Nullification, by those sovereignties, of all unauthorized acts... is the rightful remedy." [American Political Action Committee 1/29/11]
