Gasoline: Citgo stations and Hugo Chavez

Citgo ~ Petro Express ~ Hugo ~ Valero

IN ORLANDO LAST WEEK, AT A CITGO STATION, REGULAR GAS WAS PRICED AT $3.52 PER GALLON, AND NO CUSTOMERS...

HOWEVER, ACROSS THE STREET FUEL WAS SELLING FOR $3.55 PER GALLON AND ALL PUMPS THERE HAD CARS WAITING TO FUEL UP. What's going on? Word is getting around!!!!! Read on:

Have you noticed how the CITGO signs have disappeared in the past 7-8 months? A very clever move by Chavez. But guess what, "CITGO" IS CHANGING ITS NAME, too. ...

This is serious, Americans, ... make sure you read this very carefully.

CITGO is NOW in the process of Changing Its Name to "PETRO EXPRESS" due to the loss of gasoline sales in the USA , due to the recent publicity of ownership by Chavez of Venezuela .

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because Chavez is starting to feel the loss of revenue from his holdings. HE OWNS "CITGO.” This is a very important move that everyone should be aware of.

ANNOUNCED JUST RECENTLY:

"CITGO", BEING AWARE THAT SALES ARE DOWN DUE TO U..S. CUSTOMERS NOT WANTING TO BUY FROM 'CITGO-CHAVEZ', HAVE STARTED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF SOME OF THEIR STORES TO: 'PETRO EXPRESS'. DO NOT BUY FROM "PETRO EXPRESS" EITHER!!! 'PETRO EXPRESS' IS ALSO 100% OWNED BY "CHAVEZ.."

KEEP THIS MEMO GOING SO THAT EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING.

BOTTOM LINE --- BOYCOTT "CITGO"  and  "PETRO EXPRESS"

Notice how tactfully the AP puts it: Citgo is a Houston-based subsidiary of Venezuela’s state-owned oil company, and the foreign parent became a public-relations issue for 7-Eleven because of comments by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Click Here.

Washington's own Cuba time warp got a jolt as well. The oil discovery has renewed debate over whether a crude-thirsty U.S. should loosen its 46-year-old trade embargo against Cuba and let yanqui firms join the drilling, which is taking place fewer than 100 miles off U.S. shores. Despite the Bush Administration's hard line on Cuba, Republicans in Congress have proposed legislation to exempt Big Oil from the embargo. That clamor is sure to rise — especially if Barack Obama, who is more open to dialogue with Havana, becomes the next President — now that Cuba's state oil company, Cubapetroleo, or Cupet, has announced a stunning new estimate of more than 20 billion bbl. bubbling off its shores. "This is not a game," Cupet's exploration manager, Rafael Tenreyro, assured reporters in Havana last week. Time. Chavez has steadily nationalized large parts of Venezuela's economy. Some investors have been paid what experts estimate is a fair price for their assets, but the takeover of heavy oil operations run by U.S. oil companies sparked legal disputes. The economy of Venezuela - the world's fifth largest oil export which supplies 13% of US oil needs - has been severely undermined by the at times violent strikes during which demonstrators from both sides have died. BBC News. January 10, 2003

Note from TheRightJack: It would seem like every nation in the Western Hemisphere is drilling for oil. Even Cuba is making deals to drill off their coats and in international areas. China and Russia are the big time oil backers for the Western Hemisphere. Yet Democrats are doing all they can to keep the US from drilling where US oil is most accessible. All US consumers are paying for this plank in the Democrat platform. If Democrats are successful in shutting down the coal and nuclear energy operations in the USA as they are eager to do, we will be forced to purchase energy from people, companies and nations who will be smiling all the way to the bank. The victims here are US citizens and US taxpayers in particular. 8/22/09
