How to ensure the failure of your children

… and keep them, who ever “them” is, on the bottom of the economic ladder!

Do take an interest in the education of your children

As parents, always take the path of least resistance

Be a horrible model for your children so that they will learn from you how not to behave

Slap your child around and abuse them so they will know how to treat their own children some day

Introduce your children to drugs and alcohol at an early age

Make sure that there is absolutely no reading material in the home

Convince your children that “acting white” is socially wrong and not who you want to be even though other immigrant groups have figured it out

Do not correct the poor grammar of your children

Do not require that your children do chores

Do not teach your children good basic manners like saying Please, Thank you and May I help you

Be a single parent

Remove all traces of fatherhood from the home

Disparage marriage

Stand up for your children against their school teachers and other significant models and authorities who want to help them become good people and productive citizens

Avoid church, scouts and other voluntary social groups where positive social values can be learned

Allow your children to hang out with and learn from street hoodlums, thugs and criminals

Do not visit your children in jail or other lock-ups

Put families on the Big Government Dole, give parents and their children everything they might want in order to destroy their pride, self-esteem, ambition, initiative, self reliance and creativity

And what ever you do, never, ever teach your children what, in the past, were considered conventional social values

Do not, under any circumstances, allow your children to learn life skills and job skills that will serve them well in their adult years

How easy is that? Do this over two or three generations and see what you get!
