Gun ownership on 2009 tax forms

.
Another Way to Skin A Rabbit

Sender says: I will take the hit for this one. I received this from a Vietnam Vet who is still active in pilot training today. I did try to open the site, but as I find with other Government sites I use, it lingered, so I assumed it
was down for some reason. I figured if I gave it to a few select individuals they would check it out in more detail. It got out
 before that phase was completed.

Do You Know About This?

FYI: Tax is Every Year

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040
federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It may require fingerprints plus a
 tax of $50 per gun.

The bill was introduced on Feb. 24th and will become public
 knowledge
30 days after it is voted into law. This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee can pass this
without the Senate voting on it at all.

The full text of the proposed amendment is on the U.S. Senate
homepage - www.senate.gov. You can find it by doing a search by the bill number, SB-2099. You know who to call; I strongly suggest you do. Please send a
copy to every gun owner you know to help. STOP this bill.

Received from a concerned citizen on June 15, 2009. This was Googled by the sender who said that SB-2099 is for real … the right jack

Update: For a more complete review of the errors presented above [e.g., guns will not be listed on IRS forms, etc] in SB-2099, the Handgun Safety and Registration Act of 2000, see: http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/s/sb2099.htm.
