Republicans must be respectful

Republicans have been asked to be respectful and “play nicely” at town hall meetings as well as other places where disagreements with Obama and the Democrats are expressed.

Do you remember how nice the Democrats have been while shouting down Republicans over the past two decades. Democrats have also not been shy about showing down right nasty behavior at other opportunities as they announce their disagreements with anything Republican.

In Michigan, a fellow came to a town hall meeting [as I recall] displaying a Nazi swastika. Later in the same day, this man was photographed handing out Democrat campaign literature.

Sunday on radio, [8/16/09] a caller to the Glenn Beck show gave this account. She has been organizing roadside protests in New Jersey to recruit new volunteers. No “astroturfing” here, just pure grassroots organizing. A fellow stopped and seemed genuinely interested in the cause so she gave him her email address. Later, this same fellow was overheard calling the police on his cell phone to report an assembly without a permit. Upon being asked for the return of her email address, this fellow shouted into his cell phone that he was being attacked.

More double standards. Republicans are urged to be civil while Democrats have carte blanche to do what ever they please. Democrats have no scruples at all … the right jack
